I have never been to this location. I didnt know their process or what their scoop sizes look like. I put in my order for two scoops of deep dish apple pie and and a single scoop of sorbet, and completed my order. Next my friend ordered a single scoop of deep dish apple pie with the same cashier. A different person scoops some deep dish apple pie into a cup and says apple pie. I grab the apple pie, assuming its mine as I ordered first. I began eating my ice cream and then we hear two scoop of apple pie called by the same scooper. My friend got it and we couldnt swap as I already finished a good chunk of mine. We then get the sorbet and leave the Shoppe. We ordered a few minutes before close so I decided to message the business ******** page with the issue as oppose to mentioning it, as it was now passed the time they close. I did get an apology and they told me it makes sense that my friend would get his before as he only had one item. Normally, the employee that takes the order would then scoop the order. I explained that the person who took my order was not the same as the person that scooped my order. There was no response to my message stating that. I then reviewed the business on ******** and the owner once again reiterated that the employee that takes the order should make the order. I dont understand why this was mentioned yet again as at this point they knew that was not the case for me. They then said I should have mentioned it while I was there, which I do admit I could have but it was already passed closing time and I figured I would be able to work it out via message.
