Items never received. Called in April they (*******) said that the order would be coming in 10 days. It's now May 8th, 2023 and I still have not received the seeds, no notification nor a refund. When you call you are routed to a system that has you on hold...just the worst seed ordering situation ever.Business response

Customer placed order on 03-20-2023 for Tomato, Cucumber and Pepper seeds.
Order was shipped on 03-22-2023 via First Class Mail. Package weighed ****** lbs, less than a pound, so there is no tracking number. Package was shipped in a bubble envelope.
Customer called on April 6, 2023 and was told that we have to give package between five to fifteen business days for delivery.
We had no other correspondence from customer.
We will assume that the package got lost in transit.
Today I hve returned for refund the order for seeds. I have sent the customer the attached Email.

I ordered some hybrid tomatoe plants from Totally Tomatoes and received only a partial order without explanation. I called and was given no reason nor were they willing to complete the order or issue a refund.I used a credit card to order in January so dont think I can get a refund.Business response

Customer Placed Order with ********************** on 02-28-2023 Order #TT257147 Copy of order attached
Order was for seed and plants.
Seeds were shipped 03-06-2023 Via ** Mail
Plants were shipped 04-25-2023 Via ** Mail (Plants are shipped seperately from seeds and shipped at a later date to protect them from freezing in transit)
We were unable to supply one plant 1-00188pg Tomato Grafted Cherokee Purple (supplier had shorted ** what they promised **)
An Internet Refund was done back to customers Credit/Debit card that was used to pay for this order on 04-24-23 in the amount of $11.61 which was the price of the plant plus tax.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offerIt does not completely address my complaint and I certainly was never notified by the company that they would NOT completely fill my order! Zero explanation given plus I was NOT compensated! I ordered six to get a special rate! When they jerked away the plant that raised the price. I would NOT have ordered for that price. I ordered back in February and know of others who ordered LATER but mine wasnt filled. It was definitely a bait and switch tactic. If they couldnt fill my order they could have called or emailed since they had both on file instead of ignoring me for three months and shorting me. They sent zero explanation with the plants, no correspondence at all nor did they seem to care when I called them! No compensation for my three month wait and now its too late to order elsewhere. Very unprofessional and unethical practices. I feel very cheated.

I was not notified by the company that they would not fill my order.
When a product is a crop failure and we cannot provide it to our customers, A computer generated
Notice is sent to the customers Email address notifying them.
I was not compensated.
Attached please find copy of the refund report. Price of tomato was $10.95 plus applicable taxes. Total refund $11.61. Refund was credited back to customers credit/debit card.
When they jerked away the plant, that raised the price.
Pricing on the order remained the same. Customer was not charged any additional amount.We are truly sorry that we could not provide the Cherokee Purple Grafted Tomato. The customer has been compensated.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.My complaint against Totally Tomatoes has NOT been resolved! I was NOT notified that they would not fulfill my order! Had I been notified, I would have cancelled. Nor was I totally compensated for my order. I ordered a special package at a special savings but PAID the regular price when they failed to ship my complete order and did NOT notify me! I had no idea until my partial shipment arrived. It was a complete scam. I ordered in February and heard nothing until the end of April AFTER they shipped. Part of what they did ship died.

On June 4, 2022 I purchased tomato seeds from Totally ******************** The order subtotal was $19.50, $5.95 was charged explicitly as the 'shipping rate' for a grand total of $25.45. On June 14, ************************************************************************************************************************* and pay an additional $3.44 to recover. Despite charging me $5.95 for shipping fee, Totally ******************* only paid $1.36 in postage leaving me on the hook for the remainder. Local post office would not return the package to sender because it had a disclaimer on the outside that it contained seeds/planting materials and cannot be returned without authorization. I paid $9.39 in total for shipping and lost an hour of my time at the post office. I contacted Totally ******************* to rectify this situation and it has fallen on deaf ears.Business response

Ordered six packets of Tomato Seed on 06-06-2022. A package that size is usually packaged in a bubble envelope mailer. It has to fit through a certain size slot, which determines the postage. If the packets of seed shifted in the mailer, it sometimes will trigger additional postage. We charge a standard shipping rate for seed of $5.95 regardless if it is two packets or 50 packets.
**************** says he contacted our company, but I find no record that he did. We do note each customer complaint call when it comes in.
He could have emailed or sent in a postage receipt and we would have gladly reimbursed him.
We have refunded **************** for the $3.44 that he had to pay extra. As well as issue him a $10.00 Gift Certificate for all his troubles. His order total was $25.45 including $5.95 for shipping.
Attached please find copy of Internet Refund, copy of Gift Certificate and copy of Letter of response.
