I would not buy another horse from this guy. I bought a horse that was advertised as a 14 year old and she is much older, was told she would stand for a farrier and she goes berserk if the farrier tries to pick up her back legs. She has ulcers and I can't tighten a cinch on her and she is nipping and very uncomfortable. She was advertised as no bucking, crow-hopping or kicking and that she was a good horse for a person who wants more woah than go.

******************** I would like to say to you that you had your people of choice come and check the horse out in person. They are the ones that checked the horse over and clearly had no issues. The age was verified by a licensed vet. On a grade horse age can only be estimated but I know she was not way older than 13 as you claim.Review from Joe R

An honest and embarrassing review of Batista Performance Horses, LLC in Navarino, WI: Russell is as dishonest as they come. Brutal statement? Yes! True? Yes! Hands down this guy is a crook. How the scam works, and how we gave $6,000 for a performance horse with a chronic respiratory issue (heaves). 1. Russell gets neglected, malnourished, lame, unfit horses with chronic health issues on consignment. 2. Russel posts on FB that they are dream horses for top dollar. You know the ad… “perfect horse”. 3. Russell requires a 10% deposit. Ohh yeah, it’s non-refundable (even when you figure out the ad is total BS.) There goes $500-600 for the LUCKY people if you walk away now! 4. You pay in full, within 7 days or you loose the deposit. 5. You have the dream horse delivered or picked up. Your completely shocked that this guy lied about everything… Literally everything…!! The horses training, behavior, health, overall condition, age, etc.. 6. Russell wont stand behind his ad or horses, he’s the middle man. The horses are consigned through him. The excuses never run out. I pray that he wakes up and realizes what he is doing to people is wrong. That not disclosing health conditions is inhumane. I pray that we are able to hold him accountable for the fraudulent ads and gets shut down.
