      I purchased a new ******* refrigerator on 8/10/23. I contacted the business in early September to tell them appliance wasn't cooling properly, cool but not as cold as should be and was hit and miss with the temperature fluctuating. Service call on 9/15/23 said nothing was wrong and they refused to believe there was a problem. Spoiled food proved otherwise. On 10/23/23 I took unexpired curdled milk directly to the store. On 11/15/23 the control panel was replaced. Appliance worked ok and then in early February I started having problems again and reported the problem on 2/13/24. Service came same day and tech said he was ordering a part. I called store on 2/28/24 to ask what was going on since I hadn't heard anything and was told the part wasn't in yet. Today, 3/20/24, I received a text from the store telling me they would be out 3/25/24 to put a thermometer in fridge for 3 days. When I asked about the part they were supposedly waiting on I was told via text "the techs were asked to do this first". For 5 weeks I have been supposedly waiting for a part and now they decide to do this first??? In the meantime I have a nearly $1800 refrigerator that is not keeping my food at an appropriate temp. The amount of time it's taking to fix the problem is unacceptable and getting expensive as I continue throwing out food. All I want is an appliance that works correctly, fix this one or replace it, I don't care either way, just take care of the problem!

      Amundson Appliance delivered a ******* refrigerator on 8/15/23 to *********************.  On Sept 12, 2023 Amundson Appliance went to the customer's home because it was reported the refrigerator was not keeping temperature.  Our service tech ran diagnostics.  The refrigerator was cooling properly and running a constant 39 degrees for the last 20 hours.  ***** asked if the refrigerator could be set to 34 degrees.  We explained the lowest setting is 37 degrees which ******* confirmed.  On Oct. 30, ***** called to report milk has spoiled.  On Nov 3rd we returned to the customer's home.  We called ******* to escalate the part due to a previous complaint.  ******* was able to provide the main control to us to install on Nov 17.  On Feb 13th we returned to the customer's home because it was reported the fresh food section of the refrigerator was not keeping temperature.  When we arrived, the temperature was maintaining at 38 degrees.  At this time ******* did not suggest a part to be order even though our service tech thought it might be an Multi refrigerator assembly cover.  The work order was closed.  The customer called for an update on the refrigerator status.  It was determined to install a data tracker to record temperature readings.  We installed the data tracker on March 21st.   We returned to gather the data tracker information on April 1st.   After discussing with ******* the recorded information, the multi refrigerator assembly cover was ordered.  This part has been on back order with no availability.  Our parts distributor just notified us the part is coming in.  We have scheduled the return call on April 19th

      I needed a refrigerator. I always support local small businesses before big name places. So, I purchased a refrigerator Feb. 15th 2023. It never worked. Amundsons paid $50 (of $300) towards the food that had to be thrown out). Amundsons replaced it with a new one. They scratched the walls bringing the refrigerator inside. So I had to putty and paint. I paid for a new refrigerator...but I found dents and a scratch on it after they left. ( I have stage 4 kidney disease, so I didn't feel well enough to check it immediately). I talked to different people at Amundsons several times because the refrigerator never even froze ice cream. They told me "most refrigerators don't freeze ice cream". I knew they wouldn't stand behind what they sold me, so I just moved on. But then the freezer kept dripping condensation on the top shelf of the refrigerator. After wiping everything EVERY DAY, for months, I called. I was told, " We can't service you". I asked why, because it's still under warranty and they said, " We can't service you. Call the manufacturer". So I did. They hung up on me. I called Amundsons back and was told, "We can't service you". I told them the refrigerator is a piece of shit! She said ," Stop calling me names." I told her I wasn't calling her names, I said the REFRIGERATOR is a piece of s*** She said, We can't service you". They have out right lied to me several times...and they accused me of saying things I never said. I am 71 years old. I am a well known animal ****** caregiver in my area. I donate a lot to my community. People know who I am. I've never been treated so poorly as the way Amundsons has. So many people have reached out to me and said they had similar experiences with Amundsons.I feel I have been more than understanding. I didn't ask for damages when they damaged my wall. I didn't ask for damages when the 5 live lobsters froze to death in the refrigerator. I just want them to do what's right...and stand behind what they sell.

      Amundson Appliance reviewed the complaint and complied with the customer's request.  We went to the customer's house on 9/6/23.  We picked up the refrigerator.  Today, 9/7/23, *********************** came in to pick up her refund check.

      Better Business Bureau:

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  I don't appreciate their threat of taking legal action against me if I post anything negative on social media. If they stood behind what the sold me, I wouldn't have had anything negative  to say. They also stated they would not deal with me in the future. I have no plans on dealing with them again, ever. When the delivery guys picked up the refrigerator, my rug/floor was SOAKING wet. The guy asked for a couple towels to soak up all the water. I got out my rug shampoo machine and sucked up as much water as I could.. I don't know how long the floor has been soaked. I live in a mobile home. I hope the floor isn't damaged.  When I mentioned it to the saleslady this morning, all she would say is ,' I'm only supposed to hand you this check". So it looks like it's the same response as  I always got, just a different day.

      Frigidaire dishwasher ordered August, 2022. Tech. came to install dishwasher approximately 6 weeks after it came in after purchase. He was rude, he left all the packaging tape, Styrofoam, documents laying around my kitchen before leaving, he didn't say anything when it was done being installed other then everything you need to know is in the book and he left. When using it, the dishes would never come out clean. I'd have to run multiple loads on different settings, wash dishes before putting the in the dishwasher to be washed. I called for a service call in Decemeber, 2022. Asked for someone other then the gentleman who came out to install it. Amundson's told me with the warranty they have to have 3 service calls before they contact Frigidaire. The same tech who installed came out, he ran a diagnostics on it, said it should be working, told.me to change the dishwasher packets I was using to something cheaper (I use cascade platinum) and he left. I've done multiple loads since, multiple times and different settings again, called for another service as I am still under warranty. The first availability they had for someone to come out was Friday March 10th. Amundsons messaged me Tuesday March 7th to confirm the service call. I then received a text Thursday March 9th at 2pm::: This is Amundson Appliance. We reviewed the trouble reported for the dishwasher. We recommend that you call ************************** at ************ for a second opinion to address your concerns on water consumption. The service call has been canceled. We apologize for the inconvenience.We called asking why the service had been cancelled, the problem hasn't been fixed, we're still having issues with the dishwasher. Was told someone would call us back, nobody called. We called March 10th to speak with someone and was told who we need to speak with will not talk to us, the service was cancelled because it is no longer their problem. We've tried to call fridgidaire no success.

      Response to complaint:

      Amundson Appliance is regretful to hear the dishwasher the customer selected is not meeting their expectations. On January 23, 2023 Amundson Appliance service tech went to the customer's home to diagnose the issue of the dishes not getting clean and doesn't think the dishwasher was installed correctly.  *********** tech verified install was correct.  He ran diagnostic to find no errors.   He proceeded with calling Frigidaire tech support to discuss the customer's complaint.  Frigidaire created a file # of ******** and also found the dishwasher passed all tests and is operating as designed.  Amundson's service tech did recommend trying a different kind of dishwasher detergent.  

      The customer's boyfriend called on Feb 21, 2023 to report their water bill is too high because of the dishwasher and the dishwasher doesn't clean dishes.  A service call was scheduled for March 10th.  On March 9th per our service tech's review we contacted the customer stating  "We reviewed the trouble reported for the dishwasher. We recommend that you call ************************** at ************ for a second opinion to address your concerns on water consumption. *********** call has been canceled. We apologize for the inconvenience."

      The customer's boyfriend called on March 10th to report that he was waiting on hold with Frigidaire for 1 hour and was unable to speak to anyone.  We explained the customer would be responsible for the service call if no faults were found.  The customer's boyrfriend said this is under warranty.  We explained the recommendation to call ********** for a second opinion is due to the fact we did not find any faults and per Frigidaire tech line the dishwasher is operating by design.  The customer's boyfriend said I am calling the Better Business Bureau and hung up.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

      Our complaint is not the water consumption. We made the comment the water bills have been high because of the amount of times we need to run it to get something clean.  Our comaint is this dishwasher is not cleaning the dishes like a machine like this should. We have to often run the dishwasher twice at the highest settings after the dishes have been almost fully rinsed off. 

      Attached is a photo from from today of a plate that has been ran through 2 fulll cycles and is still dirty. We use a higher end brand of detergent and rinse aid. The suggestion was to use a cheaper one to see if that fixed the issue. When the service tech.  Came out he said usually fridgidaire requires a series of 3 service calls before they will help. Amundson has come out for 1 and cancelled the other one that was set up 3 weeks prior for a friday, confirmed on that Tuesday and then cancelled the day before. As of today we have still not been able to get through to anyone at the phone number Amundson Provided. We feel it was easier for them to pass off and let it be our problem. There hasnt been any willingness to help with our concerns or ensure that we are taken care of as a customer.

      A complaint was submitted 03/10/02023 against Amundson Appliance ID #********. Due to the appliance not working properly, the company only came out for one service call and completed a diagnostics scan, they never physically checked any hook-*** or moved the dishwasher. Since that call the dishwasher continued to not work properly and Amundson's has refused to come out on anymore service calls. We had a contractor come in to look at it. He found that the drain hose was improperly connected which caused the water to run back to the dishwasher and use dirty water in the drain tub to "wash" the dishes.  The contractor correctly installed all hoses as it should have been the first time and this has corrected our previous problem. 

      We'd still like to file our complaint on *******'s Appliance for poor customer service and would like the cost we incurred having to pay someone else to come out to fix their mistake repaid back to us.
