      I called for an estimate for fall clean up, was not told there would be a charge from their door to mine ($125 more). I understand a gas charge but I asked about coming from River Falls to N St Paul & was told they had other customers in the area, so thought would be a reasonable charge not like I was the only customer that day, but I was unlucky to be the 1st one & the windiest day of the year to boot. I called twice to ask about invoice total for this charge & was told charge was for 1.5 hours when they actually only ‘worked 1 hour’ won’t recommend will tell friends, family & neighbors call someone Local instead of getting taking by out state company!!’

      The online billing and payment system they are using is outdated and just unsafe (you may lose your data). The system doesn't work with the pre-paid service they offer, so you end up paying more than what you budgeted for the season. They are trying to upcharge you anytime they can as well, so watch out for what you pre-pay and what they bill you for later. Customer service is bad! When they were small, they paid attention to every customer but they grew and now they don't care. Unprofessional approach to business!

      We understand your frustration, however the online billing portal through WorkWave is safe and widely used in the industry. There were many attempts made to contact you about the remaining balance owed before any service was done, including immediately after the pre-payment was made with a voicemail left indicating the remaining balance. However since the service was initially approved with the pricing discussed and since we do not require pre-payments, just offer them for the benefit of our customers, without any call back telling us not to move forward with the service we considered it as accepted. After our management team talked with you, it sounded as though you attempted to pre-pay for all services, however only one service was pre-paid. With online payments it is up to the customer to select what they want to pay. The pricing for the full program was discussed previously and with access to your statements and account history, it unfortunately is up to the customer to monitor. Without any communication, we can only assume that you intended to pre-pay for one service and that you accomplished your goal. We apologize for your frustration, but without having that communication from you there isn't much that we are able to do.

      We hired Green Oasis to come after requesting quotes on line. I was contacted by their sales person and we told him what our price range expectation was (I told him what we’ve been paying from other services for the last 5 years which was around $300). He assured me it would be around that amount. 2 persons $98 per hour & haul away fee. They came the day after it rained all night. They stood in the street in front of our home & talked for 15 minutes and another 15 minutes afterward. We we’re home & we watched them. They worked a total of 1.10 hours. It has never taken more than 45 minutes to do our yard! They charged us $463! The drivers claimed they worked 1.75 hours. I called & emailed Green Oasis to discus this. The person (Isaac) called us back & said the GPS in the truck said they were here 1.75 hours. I said “maybe so but they were not working 1.75 hours”. This Isaac person was not willing to work with us on this and did not even take into consideration that it’s never taken this long & we’ve never been charged this excessive amount. I was not attempting to get out of paying but they should have charged for 1.10 hours of service and adjusted for us. We were a new customer & my husband is a 90% disabled veteran. I will NEVER use Green Oasis again. They lost a potential return customer. Beware of Green Oasis. They do not care about their customers or believe them.

      After reviewing the account, we did in fact verify with our GPS tracking system and technicians the actual work time completed. Our technicians have been with us for a long time and are very experienced at what they do. While the time may have been consistent in previous years, varying weather conditions, tree growth, wind, etc can affect the length of time needed to complete the job. Because of those factors, these jobs are charged as time and material with no guarantee on the length of time or price and we make sure that all potential customers are aware of that prior to receiving the service.

      Beware of the business practices of this company. I pre-paid for lawn services prior to the season, paying the agreed amount stated by Green Oasis. Throughout the season, services were performed as agreed. However, following the last service, Green Oasis sent an invoice for an additional amount. It appeared as a prvious balance but a current charge. When questioned, they stated that management had decided to charge additional fees due "to increased costs". These charges were not agreed to when pre-payment was made and services were ordered. Nor did Green Oasis provide any notice. I believe all of thier customers were treated in the same manner. They later offered to remove the charges, after my complaint. I find it incredible and unethical for a company to offer pre-paid services, accept payment, perform the services and then attempt to collect additional money.

      ****, I understand why you would be frustrated. Unfortunately there are things beyond our control, and the market took a dramatic shift as gas, oil, and labor prices all increased in a very short period of time. In order to stay in business, we have to follow what the market does. Pre-paying does not secure a price, but rather is offered at a discount to benefit customers. Our renewal and new customer notices do contain that information so by accepting services it is something that we have to assume our customers are aware of.
