  On 4/12/2022 I had dropped off my Vehicle at the Lighting auto care center location to have my rear brakes services as I was leaking brake ********** brakes werent functioning properly . I was told that they would do a full diagnostic then give me a call what was wrong . Fast forward to 4/15/2022 I received a call late morning from the shop and was told that they would have to try and rethread my calipers because they had been cross threaded and replace a brake hose line . I authorized them to do so . I later then picked up my vehicle the same day and labor and parts including the diagnostic that they had done on my whole vehicle to come out to $356.07. I paid the total and was given a printed statement of a list of other issues they came across while servicing the vehicle. I then drove my vehicle home from the shop which is 4.3 miles away . When I arrived home I noticed I was leaking fluid from my front of my car underneath . I asked my neighbor who is a ASE certified mechanic what this fluid was and then informed me it had been transmission fluid . Mind you before I had taken my car to Lighting auto care center I had no issues other than my breaks. He had also told me there was a pin size hole in the transmission cooler like and this is where is was coming from. I then taken it to a local shop near me and had the technician look over my vehicle one more time and was told there was in fact a pin size hole and my transmission pan bolts had been loosened up. Also note my car was driving just fine before this . I went ahead and had this other technician fix the issue as Lighting Auto told me there was not a warranty on my vehicle or anything that went wrong after it left there shop was my problem. Its been 2 weeks Im still having issues and my car is not in shape to be driven . I called Lighting Auto on 4/29/2022 to speak with a technician and ask if they knew if there was any other issues . I was told yes they noticed it was running rough but didnt tell me.

  BBB COMMENT:

  She called awhile back. She said something about the transmission and we told her we just did her brakes. We repaired the brakes on 4/14/2022 - she didn't bring the vehicle back for any type of inspection. I told her we didn't have anything to do w the transmission.
