My new dentist at Signature Dental is wonderful, his hygienist is first class and the staff who provided quotes for further dental work, like ***********, is fantastic. So what could go wrong? This group actually represented my 'old dentist' office but my dentist had retired. I'm living in *******, but thought I would visit them in my home town for a second opinion.My insurance paid them on April 30th; they then sent their statement with processing on May 31st, I received it sometime in the first week of June. I wrote out a check (since I didn't see any payment portal listed on the statement) but left it in my car, hoping to find a post office. Their statement was in my car for a week, so they texted me, frantic for the payment in the second week of June. The very next day I mailed it. I asked the office why they didn't have a payment portal? They claimed they did. They began sending me more statements after that, literally 5 days apart with "PAY IT NOW" threats, still inside 30 days. I called Signature Dental to get them to stop mailing statements. No one had much of an explanation. I spoke to a "******" who is the office manager. Her calculating demeanor, being above reproach, was off-putting. I wanted to know why she thought I was late? I was concerned about my credit. Then I spoke to an "*****" in billing, but unfortunately she offered little explanation. I completely lost it. After growing heated, I hung up. The office had my dentist, ****************, the office staff, etc. listen to the phone conversation. I was called back and told I could no longer go to their facility. I agreed. The workplace is too toxic, dysfunctioned, and inoperable. I believe **************** called my older brother, who is a well-known doctor in *********, to report it. I'm 100% sure about this. This may be a case for defamation and I may order the phone tapes of his conversation with my brother. Anyway, this is a potential case under investigation for litigation.
