I would give 0 stars or even negative it it would let me. I do not like thst I am having such a hard time getting my policy canceled. I sold my business and no longer have a need to continue the policy yet getting it canceled is worse then getting teeth pulled.

I would rate zero stars. If you ever have a natural disaster, dont count on these guys to make your life any easier while youre trying to work through all the problems. They made every effort possible to pay me as little as possible. Also when I sold my house recently, you cant even cancel the policy with them. They make you create a memorandum to cancel. They still didnt cancel and never responded to me so I eventually had my local insurance provider get them to cancel. Would never use again. On to our 2nd year with Acuity. Premium went up slightly and was very competitive over other insurers. I have no claims so I cannot speak on that subject. Hoping that premiums for seniors with no claims start coming down instead of going up. One can hope. Switched to Acuity from **** and never looked back. Acuity insures everything I have without referring parts of my coverage to other companies so premium payments become easier. They offer very competitive rates and it is a pleasure to do business with a local agent who is very responsive to questions I had. I have recommended and will continue to recommend Acuity to friends, family, and anyone else when the subject of insurance comes up. This company insured our condo and when there was extensive damage they withheld payment to the mitigation company even though the expenses were already approved. To date they are still stalling the repairs and 40 units have been displaced without an assurance of a rebuild.Acuity, a Mutual Insurance Company Response

I have had many insurance companies in the past but Acuity is the best of all of them. Easy to deal with and when you need them, they are there fore you. Most insurance companies do not respect the client and are usually looking for the exclusions so they do not have to pay a claim. I have had only one 2 claims in my years with acuity and they were better than perfect. I feel like they have always been on my side and just plain easy to deal with. I found a place to get cheaper insurance and I canceled acuity and they sent me a bill for a $539 saying a recent audit show that I owed this amount and then threaten me that it would go on my credit report if I did not pay immediately. I'm a satisfied Acuity customer since 1996. Auto-Home-Rec Vehicles-Umbrella. Unfortunately I had deer hits in November 2022 $3600 and October 2023 $4100. Both were settled fairly and promptly with the body shop I preferred. We had hail/wind storm damage $25,500 June 2023. Again Acuity claims took care of us fairly and promptly. My premium went up about $250 a year, but it was still less than other companies I checked. I like having all my coverages in one policy due once a year.Acuity, a Mutual Insurance Company Response
