      I had a 08' Toyota Camry and it was time to purchase an SUV vehicle with AWD. I went to Van Horn Nissan Sheboygan and purchased a 21' Nissan Rogue Platinum. I am 22 years old, with no knowledge about car sales and cars in general. The salesperson informed me it was a lemon/manufacture buyback, but at the time I did not know what that meant. He said the previous owner would accelerate and the car would "vibrate". During the whole negotiation and waiting for his supervisor to finish his work, he was getting to know me. I told him I am a college student who needs a safe car to commute from Oshkosh to Appleton on a regular basis. He and Van Horn clearly took advantage of me, and I feel like an idiot for someone "getting to know" me and kept persisting that all they cared about was that I was satisfied with the car and happy. Not even a month later, I felt the vibration come back plus two more problems with the car. I reached out to Van Horn and they completely disregarded my concerns, saying I still have a warranty and that I can take it to any Nissan dealership. This was very upsetting because for a company to ensure their customers are "satisfied" and "happy" did not seem to play a factor at this point. They wouldn't do anything and would have ended up leaving me with -$10K in negative equity. Yeah, I guess you can say they did nothing wrong and nothing"illegally". Myself and the co-buyer signed the "14 documents stating it was a lemon". But what is very upsetting is that this was morally wrong. They didn't care at all and took advantage of a young adult. 10/10 would not recommend going to Van Horn Nissan of Sheboygan for anything. I tried calling multiple times as well and it seemed like they were avoiding me.

      Thank you for your review. ************ fully discloses the history on every vehicle we sell. It is up to the consumer to determine if it is the right vehicle for them. Our manager did respond to your messages and offer to buy the vehicle back from you at current market conditions. We would be happy to discuss further options with you and see what we can do.

      I took my 2013 Nissan Altima in for a factory recall to replace defective headlights (settled class action suit). I had all of my paperwork in order and when we went in for the appointment they said they would not replace them because they did not delaminate. The recall said nothing about proving delamination and I filed a complaint with Nissan Corporate and the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration. So far General Manager has not responded. I advise NEVER buy a Nissan Altima, total lemon. Also had the transmission replaced by another factory recall. Van Horn should do the right thing and replace the headlights. VERY dissapointed in them.

      I had an agreement with Josh, a sales manager about a car to purchase the next day. We came to an agreement on a trade in value for my car and asked if I could get the finance paperwork going ahead of time to speed up the process for when I get there the next day. I filled out said paperwork and sent it back in immediately to get the process going. I call the next morning to set up a time to purchase the car and they had sold it. I ask the receptionist if I could talk to Josh for an explanation on how this happens and she said he was with a customer currently so she she gives me his voicemail. I call back 3 hours later because I haven’t heard back. The receptionist tells me he has left for the afternoon. Poor customer service at this dealer ship and I would avoid it.
