      I paid ****** to have my *** 535i serviced and was given a date it would be repaired. It past the date and **** continues to avoid my calls and extend the time on my vehicle with no effort to complete service. He has avoided my calls and I am not sure what is being done with my vehicle as he keeps adding more unnecessary services and I have had a diagnosis from *** and aware of everything needed plus the large payment I paid covered all equipment yet he has failed to value me as a customer or accomplished service when stated it has been over 6 weeks past the service date. And he and staff are giving me the run around. I need my vehicle I am losing valuable resources and veteran benefits because of his actions. I am contacting bbb before I seek an attorney to intervene.

      i have been in contact with this customer. his vehicle has been at my shop since august 18 2022. he did not have the money to pay for the engine replacement and asked if he could make payments on the bill. i said that he could but we would not start work on the vehicle until the bill was pd. the estimate he was given at the start of the repair was just that an "estimate". this vehicle was towed here, which cost was not figured into the original estimate,  from another city which is almost 200 miles from my shop. the customer was making monthly $500 dollar payments towards the estimate and once the engine was paid for, which was on march 19th 2023,  we got the vehicle into the shop and started to remove the engine. when we started to remove the engine, which was locked up solid and did not turn over at all, plus the battery in the vehicle was completely dead,  additional parts were found that were defective that *** have led to the **************** failure, such as a turbo inlet pipe that was split open, coolant hose split open, oil cooler line leaking,  the customer was contacted by myself personally and told that these parts needed to be replaced at an additional cost and that they had to be ordered from the dealer. these parts were not readily available and in fact we are still waiting for one of them. the customer also demanded to have the vehicle towed back to him which also was not included in the original estimate. We had to fit him into our repair schedule as we currently book out almost 6 weeks in advance, but the customer demanded we put our other customers off to work on his vehicle and has called my shop numerous times and has dealt with my staff in a very rude manner. i have spoken with this customer personally over 6 times since march 19th and he was informed that 1 part we are waiting for has a tentative arrival date of April 18th 2023. i understand the customer wants his vehicle but i have no control over when dealer parts arrive and we cannot install the used engine in his vehicle until we receive the part we are waiting for.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

      I was given multiple dates my vehicle would be done. Not when parts arrive.  **** continually avoided my calls and has not met any dates of completion.  I am a man of honor and integrity and it's disappointing to see the fabrication of dishonesty **** and his staff have stooped to do. I ask you watch as I feel my car will not be properly service and I am being discriminated against.  I have never been rude to neither him or his staff and this just shows how misleading so called fair rated companies can be. I'm am disappointed in the actions this company has shown in there disregard for satisfying the customer. I paid a great deal of financial dividends and mental health distress in the lack of honesty and support in a company I trusted to provide what was promised. I have no hard feelings but it is disappointing in the lack of integrity and effort in delivering on his word. He has not!

      i DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT TO SAY AT THIS POINT. i just spoke to *** again this morning. the delays to the vehicle have always been because we are waiting for parts, i can even supply parts invoices to prove this. i honestly believe *********** is trying to set my company up for further action which he has no cause to do. what mental distress? what discrimination? I've never even met the man. Vehicle was towed in. To top it off ************ wants the vehicle towed back to him once it is completed, so i will have no contact with him at all except for the constant phone calls from him, sometimes 3-4 times per day. i have returned every one of his calls. it may not be the same day but it is within day or 2 for sure.
