      Undisclosed information was given to me at the sale. Parts were broken that they did not fix or disclose to me. Now they want me to pay for some of the repairs. The underside of the vehicle and front bumper need to be replaced. The passenger side mirror is cracked, they wont pay or fix that. That was also not disclosed to me.

      Sorry it took so long to get back to you. We were a bit taken back by the complaint because we had the vehicle here getting the repairs done to it at that time. She took the vehicle Friday and was happy with the work that we did to it. She had the time to look it over and gave us the approval. Not sure how to go from here.

      Better Business Bureau:

      The complaint was sent before the business got back to me stating they were going to fix the issues. Originally, at the time of the complaint, they wanted me to pay $600 towards the repair and at that time I told them no and then didnt hear from them for 6 days. But yes, this is now all taken care of and they did come through with repairs. I am satisfied and this complaint can be closed. 
      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 21691332, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

      Regarding CDJR location in Stevens Point, WI. They had just dropped the price on a car I was interested in. I called to inquire. Was told the price was dropped because the dealer was new n trying to gain new customers. **** told me the only things wrong with the car were no working blind spot monitors & Bluetooth. I made the nearly 150 mile round trip for a test drive. The car was to my liking, sales *************** was very professional and a fair amount was offered for my trade. I decided to make a deal, however, I did not have the title to my trade with me. I offered to come back on Saturday. I offered to put a deposit to hold the car. Sales Mgr, *****, approached me and said theyd really like to do the deal that day. If I could just sign the paperwork, it would help them close the month out. I thought about it and said I didnt want to do that. Sales guy offered that if I signed that day, they could deliver the car and the money owed for my trade the next day. I agreed and as I was signing, they took my license plates off of my vehicle and replaced with dealer plates. I did not like this but was told it was common practice. While signing papers, they had me sign a mechanics special disclosure. Listed on disclosure were the 2 items I knew of, but also that the license plate light didnt work. Finance guy told me the bulb was likely out. Huge red flag. Went to *****, he basically said the car is sold as is. I told him it was not road legal. I left the dealer very unhappy. Turned around and came back and asked for my plates back. ***** told me they were on the car at their service location. I told him, no license plate light and no check in my hand tomorrow, no deal. They did not deliver as promised, ****** told me I could call it off and they would promptly return my plates. I have asked for my plates on Friday, they did no call me back. Today Sat they said Maybe Monday. I am buying a car on Monday elsewhere and want my plates back promptly! Slimy pushy scam.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  The dealer returned my plates immediately after I notified them I had contacted BBB.  Thank you BBB, you provide a much needed service.
