I purchased my 2019 Acadia from Kocourek in Stevens Point. I probably should have walked away as soon as I got there, but I really liked the vehicle. They were dishonest about what they would give me for my trade. Then when I made my purchase, I did choose to purchase an extended warranty. They were not honest with me that I had to take my vehicle to Kocourek for the warranty to cover 100%. I found that out the hard way when I needed a repair and took my car to the local GM dealership. Later, when I spoke to a representative from Kocourek, they did not apologize or offer any form of compensation for their dishonesty. They simply said I could use any Kocourek dealership because they are all fully certified. Fast forward to today. I called Kocourek *********** to schedule service because there is an issue when I park that it says it's not in park. I was told by the service representative, that I needed to take it to a GM dealership. I explained the situation with the extended warranty and how I had to take it t9 Kocourek. His only solution was for me to drive 2 hours round trip to get my car serviced. I think people should be aware of how shady they are before they purchase a vehicle through them. I definitely wouldn't recommend. I would like to be refunded at least 1/2 of this warranty due to their dishonesty.

      Good afternoon ********-

We received a letter today regarding an inquiry that you had put in with the BBB and wanted to do a follow up with you regarding the statement made to them.  I went into the *** system and read the correspondence regarding the issues you had with the Acadia and wanted to apologize as I did not know of the concerns you had.  It also looks like you are looking for a refund of the service contract you had purchased on June 6th 2022 as well?  We can cancel the service contract for you and the prorated amount will be debited to your loan balance with *********** (if that is still whom the lender is).  If there is another direction or I am misunderstanding what you are looking for please let me know.

Again, I apologize for the inconvenience or misunderstanding you had regarding your purchase with Kocourek Stevens Point Honda, also, in the handling of the situation.

      Thank you

I purchased a new 2021 Honda Pilot on 3/20/21 with a prepaid maintenance program lasting for five years. After receiving maintenance on 7/24/23, I was informed the program is no longer being valid with this dealer location. The service department advised me the dealership was giving it's customers a two year grace ****** after buying the dealership. No warning or notifacation was giving to the customers of this change. My invoice for service on 7/7/22 listed as 3rd of 10 by the current dealership. My invoice for service on 1/26/23 listed as 4th of 6. I cannot understand way the change listed on those invoices. I wish to be reinburst for $510 or three years of vehicle service.

On June 18th, 2022, I purchased a used car from this dealership, for which I traded in my current vehicle. A payoff amount was agreed upon, which was supposed to be submitted by the dealership to the bank through which the vehicle was financed. A couple of weeks later, I got a notice from the bank that my car payment was past due. I informed them that I did trade the car in, to which they informed me that they had not yet received a payoff check. I called the dealership to find out why this was. The employee from their financial department was not available so I left a voicemail. He returned my call on 07/25/22 and left a voicemail stating he would call the ********************* on Monday, August 1st to see why the payoff amount was not received. I have not heard anything since. It is now August 8th. I have called multiple times and left numerous messages to no avail. I am not sure what I need to do to get them to contact me back or ensure that the check for the payoff amount is sent in to the credit union.

I contacted this business initially on Monday May 9th, 2022 in regards to the 2013 **** Escape SEL they had on their lot, as my car was totaled the Friday before this. I put down a $100 dollar deposit after confirming they had the vehicle and my mom went to test drive it the following Wednesday. The drive went fine, but when she was on the phone with me sitting in the vehicle in their parking lot, the vehicle just shut off. She turned it back on, it shut off again. They claimed it was the gas as it was close to empty and had been sitting in their Honda location for awhile. I purchased it the next day and the $100 deposit went down on the loan. Around 5pm Friday (less than 24hr later), I was driving the car and it stopped moving while I was on the road. I had the person who owned the home I stopped in front of jump me, and I made it home a block away. I called the dealership, spoke to **** and had a rental delivered to me less than two hours later. They couldnt figure out what was wrong with it, so they deemed it unsafe to drive and offered to replace it. Yet, an employee that didnt know the situation called me and said they were transferring it and making it a loaner vehicle. Now it is four weeks since I initially contacted them and I still dont have a different vehicle. They have switched me from three different loaners, had two vehicles on hold for me and still sold them; I still have the Escape in my name and they havent given me a refund or a replacement vehicle. Theyre IMPOSSIBLE to contact. I have gone in in-person multiple times and havent achieved any results after an hour drive there. Took days off of work, too. I just want my money back (deposit that went onto a loan that shouldnt even exist anymore) as well as the loan money/replacement. I dont care to give them my business but without their loaners I would be without a vehicle and I need to get myself and my boyfriend to work every day. I have no contract; they said theyd email me and didnt.

This guest had recently traded in the vehicle of interest and is driving a different vehicle.  I believe the letter and complaint crossed paths at the same time.  We have reached out to guest and she noted that her significant other submitted the request.  How do we close the case and move forward on this?

      Thank you
