I hired Christine for an extensive, posed family photoshoot as a gift to my grandparents for their 50th anniversary. Christine took the money, did the bare minimum, and provided poorly executed photos. There were numerous red flags, but the major problem was when Christine snapped photos while people were not paying attention and didn’t bother vocalizing to anyone when she was taking pictures. She also didn’t move people around to balance out the photos. I specifically requested that she do both of these things before she was hired. The photos Christine captured were disappointing and embarrassing. Dozens of the pictures captured people not looking, not smiling, blinking, blocked and blurred faces, etc. Several family members commented that Christine acted rudely and made snarky remarks during the session. She refused to offer a partial refund, photoshop the images, or offer a different resolution. She refused to help make things right, insisted she met her obligations and was quick to reference her contract. She pointed out that in her contract, it was not her obligation to make sure people were looking at the camera and smiling, or take posed portraits. She was okay with people not looking or smiling because SHE wanted to capture natural emotions/candids. We specifically hired her for posed family portraits. She shouldn't have taken the job if she felt she could not capture what we needed (or edit to make it appear that way). Christine lacked professionalism, attention to detail, and proper communication. The photos should have been less about what she wanted and more about what my family wanted. We had one shot at these photos, and Christine ruined it with her inability to perform fundamental and necessary duties anyone would reasonably expect when hiring a professional photographer. I am so disappointed and frustrated with both the photos and Christine’s unwillingness to offer to make things right.

This person has committed fraud against our company with a false chargeback. Below is the real story.It breaks my heart that you feel this way about your ************* experience with us, especially since this is a very different experience than we had on the day of your event. We were having so much fun with your families, so many laughs, high fives & thanks all around. It was rad to see so many of you from all over coming together for your Grandparents' 50th Anniversary. We loved hearing their story & seeing your sweet Grandparents enjoying their time with you all.The quality of the photos, which you said in your 1st email was beautiful & loved them. We even had a quick turnaround for your family. We went above & beyond to ensure your session happened after a massive storm went through the area the night before your event. We offered to come early and postpone to later that day. Your family agreed to postpone to the following day so that the venue had power & could accommodate your event. We did come early to scout the location before saying Hello to you all, which we do during every event when possible. While also doing again before the session after we chat details. We also stayed 30 min late to ensure we could photograph those who couldn't make it earlier, at no additional fee. We also agreed to photoshop the missing people into the large family photo at no additional fee. I also did a quick family session for your sister, which normally isn't something we do, but you needed some time as not everyone arrived yet. We had a time constraint with one of the family member's sons needing to leave early to get back to work. We got through most of your 50+ shot list in the limited time we had. And her son was able to leave on time! Before each photo was taken, I moved people to ensure I could see them and asked them to move multiple times with them moving back, or stating they didn't want to move. We cannot force people to move if they do not want to. We have you a full album of over 200 images, both posed family photos & a few candids of people waiting. We also yell before each posed group photo with a raised hand to look at the camera! Which turned into a funny event each time when your Grandmother yelled Cheesie Weenie before each photo! It was the cutest thing!We did apologize for forgetting the chair - but the venue chairs were MUCH more comfortable & you cannot see the chair in the photo. After the gallery delivery, I did additional photoshopping with head swaps of multiple photos and another person who couldnt be there was photoshopped into the generational photo. Resulting in double the editing we normally do. We feel horrible you are not happy with your experience - we did additional hours of editing & stayed late at no additional cost. Resulting in a $600+ discount. We were even willing to sign over the copyright to these images so you could get them edited to your style, so you could enjoy the memories. But, you denied this request. As someone who has lost all her ********************** who has come from a large family - I understand the meaning of photographs. This is why I take my job so seriously. We laughed with your Grandparents & loved hearing how they met - they are wonderful people. And was honored to have gotten to be able to get them photos with everyone together.
