    4/12/24, Friday at approximately 3:00 pm. We were on our way to ****** to shop, our Toyota Corolla Cross notified us of an issue with the vehicle, there was also an audio alarm. the message advised us: 12-volt battery charging system malfunction stop in a safe place call dealership. We were 10 minutes from a Toyota ************** center in ********, **. We drove the vehicle to that location. Once there we spoke with a ********************* (Service Manager). He told us he couldn't look at the vehicle till Monday, he told us we would have to pay for a rental if we left the vehicle there, he told us that if it was under warranty work that the loaner (rental) would be covered. We were stranded in ******** with no way home, so we took the rental and figured it would be covered under warranty. Once the vehicle was fixed (they did find the issue, replace a nut connecting a wire to the alternator, and made the repair), we were notified late on Monday that the vehicle was ready. We could not make it up to Superior on Monday as the store would be closed. We went to ******** the next afternoon. At this time we were made aware that we had to pay for the rental as Kari Toyota Service won't cover the loaner under warranty due to the work was under 8 hours. I was never made aware of this from the start. I would like to also note that we were told the service department had no one to look at the vehicle on Friday when we brought in the car. Even though there were 4 service technicians sitting behind the counter talking about weekend plans. if they would have taken a quick look, they would have found the issue with in the hour (that's how long it took for the technician on Monday, to find and fix it). We have spoken with the ** of Service (*********************), who stated this would be taken care, to then hearing from him stating we had to pay the rental fee.Kari Toyota/Service is not a rebuttable business, they have lied to me about what I was told on Friday 4/12/24.

    I had my Camry serviced there and they didnt fill the oil to recommended capacity or top off the windshield washer fluid. I went back to them and they said everything was fine. I know that even though the oil was in the safe zone it wasnt filled to specifications. I told the service manager that I was unhappy with the service and that Im not coming back to Kari Toyota and all he said was ok!!

    I have confirmed **************** brought his 2017 Camry into our service department on February 7, 2022 and our technician changed the oil and oil filter. According to our service manager and other service department employees **************** brought his vehicle back in two days later on February 9, 2022 with the complaint that the oil was not full and the washer fluid was not topped off. The service manager offered to go out and look at the oil level with the customer, but **************** did not want to go with him. They took his Camry into the shop and after briefly letting the oil settle the service manager checked the oil which was exactly on the dip stick full line. This was confirmed and verified by two technicians. No oil needed to be added. I am not sure what **************** noticed but I'm wondering if he did not let the vehicle rest long enough after the vehicle was running before checking the oil level. This will cause the oil level to look low as much of the oil may not have returned to the reservoir yet. That is just a suggestion as it is common. Our technicians set a digital reading for each vehicle to measure the exact amount of oil to add to the tenth of a quart so the measurements should be spot on.When the vehicle was in the shop they also topped off the washer fluid. It is estimated it took less than a cup of fluid to fill to the absolute top. This was two days after the original service was preformed and I am not sure if **************** used the fluid or not in those two days, but if the fluid was that close I would deem it acceptable even if he hadn't used any. We do add washer fluid to customer's vehicles when they get an oil change but we do not claim to fill it to the top and it is a complimentary service. The customer does not pay extra for the washer fluid.I am sorry **************** is unsatisfied with the service he received from us. I apologize for that. We hate to lose a customer but it is ******************** option to get his vehicle serviced wherever he would like.
