I contacted Guardian Pest Solutions because I used them a few years ago & was satisfied. I talked to ***** explaining a rodent problem specifically red squirrels, ****************** She said they could take care of the problem. She sent a contract which I signed stating that they would take care of the rodent problem. A technician came out and set bait boxes around the house. He came out again basically did nothing but walk around the house came back third time looked in one box and said there was a chipmunk in it & emptied it. I told him the big problem was the red squirrels and voles. Showed him where they were getting into the house. He said nothing just looked at me. He reported that he had seen mouse activity. We still have a serious problem. This company is charging me $500 for setting out bait boxes that I could have purchased for less than $25. I have caught a red squirrel, many chipmunks and continue to catch 2-3 voles daily! I question if there is even any bait in the boxes. I called & talked to ***** who told me that they did what they hire to do and I would have to pay. After much discussion she said the manager would call me to help resolve the issue. The manager never called me! This was a total scam and ripoff. This company did absolutely nothing worthwhile to resolve the rodent problem. When I initially contacted them I stated that there were red squirrels in walls of my house. At that time ***** did not tell me that they would not do anything about squirrels in the walls. She only assured me that they would take care of the problem. Later when I complained she said that they wouldnt do anything about the problem of the squirrels in the walls. I feel that this company deceived me. The fact that I continue to trap voles and chipmunks is a strong indication that they didnt do anything. Unfortunately, I didnt read the current reviews on this company. I went by prior experience. This is a total scam.

A Guardian representative came to my home on 10/11/2023 for a home inspection that I had requested due to problems with flying squirrels entering my house from unknown access points. The representative walked around my house on his own and with me present. He pointed out several possible access points, which I later addressed. However, I continued to have problems with flying squirrels. A few weeks later by accident, I discovered a compromised metal vent to the crawl space below my house located under the lowest level balcony attached to the house. It was an obvious potential access point for flying squirrels. I sealed it with heavy duty wire mesh. After that I stopped having problems with flying squirrels entering my house. When I received the bill for services I contacted Guardian in Superior ** through their website on 1/14/2024 and explained the above and suggested I pay half my bill, which was for $98, since I felt they had not done a thorough inspection and the part they missed was the obvious access point for the flying squirrels. I got a message stating someone would contact me soon. Four days later, not having heard from them I called them and explained what I written in my message 4 days earlier. I was told that since I'd signed a contract and the inspection had been done I was expected to pay the full amount. Otherwise it would be sent to a collection agency, increasing my costs. I explained that I was willing to pay half since a representative had come and done an inspection, but that it would be fair from my point of view to pay half since the inspection was not thorough enough to have discovered the problem access point. The phone representative just kept repeating that Id signed a contract. I would not recommend this company to anyone. At this point I have paid nothing yet, but would be happy to pay half my bill.
