I had a pair of their shoes through ******** diabetic foot care. After 3months pieces of rubber began coming loose. I complained to Dr. Comfort and was told I would get a replacement. While waiting, the first pair had a loose piece of rubber on the left foot and caught on the right foot. This caused me to fall out the front storm door. My right elbow was shattered, causing an ambulance, and ER room visit. Surgery with 3 day hospital stay, two week rehab. The hardware was just removed this spring. They were rude, told me the shoes were the foot doctor's fault I was seeing. The shoes are only guaranteed for 6 months. But on ******** you can only get one pair free per calendar year. When the second pair(replacement) came the same shoes with pieces falling off. They knew these shoes are defective, have caused accidents but are still selling them. I have pictures and all my receipts from the hospital and office calls. In fact the hospital that did the surgery messed up my credit preventing my purchase of a new heat pump. Is being cheap worth endangering senior adults. I see this as elder abuse. They must be held responsible for all the lives they have endangered. The company called me, harassed me when I and countless others were not worth a real molded sole not glued pieces of rubber. Dr Comfort hides the complaints less other realize they have been victimized, and they don't care. Surely our laws protecting the seniors and handicapped are being broken. I wish I had never heard of their cheap shoes. ******** still provides shoes but my Doctor does carry the Dr Comfort junk anymore. I am still a victim and angry that my life was and is of no importance to them. Can somebody get involved? I am handicapped and pushing 66 with many health problems.Review from Kelly D

Ordered pair of shoes expecting a reputable company. I was flabbergasted by customer service upon questioning the charges to bank acct. I see a pending 1.00 from a global company which was not Dr comfort. Then I see $141.33 pending charge. I confirmed my order was for $121.14. There is no reason the company should hold additional money in a pending status. Confirmed with my back that is the pending charge. The customer service rep and supervisor insisted the correct amount would show when shoes were shipped! Hmmm they were shipped yesterday and it’s still not correct. Will have to babysit my charges for a few days to see if they will truly correct it. Haven’t even received the shoes yet hopefully I’ll like them and not have to deal with this company again!!!Review from Luticia F

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER /RETURN SERVICE. I purchased a pair of shoes for my father. Received on 10.22, didn't fit, returned 10.27, they had them on site 10.31 11:44am. Per customer service they had to be in the 'sterilization area' for 3 days and could not be opened until after. I asked for an email receipt of the return - promised but didn't receive it. Was told I would receive return sometime after the 3 days quarantine. Now, November 9th - still don't have my refund. Am being promised that it was processed yesterday. As always quick to take your money but taking 2-3 weeks to return it is unacceptable! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE - you only get "I'm sorry, I'm sorry" without a resolution other than continuing to wait to get your money back and/or have to call again. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Zero Stars should be an option.Review from Doreen D.

My husband bought a pair of sneakers in 9/21. He already had a pair and liked them but bought another because they were on sale and he would have them when he needed them. He put in the insoles that came with them and tried them on to make sure they fit which they did. He put them back in the box and they were never worn. Sadly he passed away in January and in March I called Dr Comfort to see if I could send them back for a refund. First they said no because it was past 30 days. Then they said they would have a manager call me back. I received a call the next day and they said they would allow the return and refund my $105. They emailed me a return label and the shoes were received by them on 3/15/22. I have yet to receive my refund and I have spoken to 4 different people in the past 2 months who have all kept me on hold for ridiculous amounts of time and then promised me the refund would hit in 7-10 days. It has not. If they didn't call me back the first time to tell me they would accept them I would have been fine with that and just donated the shoes. Now they have the shoes which I know they are reselling and my money. They did not honor what they told me and have continually jerked me around. Very sad that they can get away with treating customers like this.

I ordered a pair of shoes in November of 2021. I promptly returned them after they arrived because the fit was not right. After not receiving a refund after 2 months ( January 24th) I e mailed customer service with the order number inquiring about my refund. They wrote back asking for tracking information. I gave them several tracking numbers since I did not know which was which. ( Had several other online returns I sent off via *** in the same trip) I apologized for the inconvenience and stated that if they gave me the address the their return warehouse I'd be able to narrow it down. They did not respond to my suggestion but did say they would contact the warehouse and get back to me. That was 2 months ago. It is now March 20 and the company has ignored any further inquiries into the status of my refund. All together I am out $43 plus tax. I do not remember if I had to pay for shipping either way. I genuinely hope not since I never was credited for the return. I bought from this company in good faith that they would honor returns as stated on their website. Unfortunately that has not been my experience. $43 is not that much but on principal it is upsetting. In the end Dr. Comfort kept money for goods I did not keep.Review from Kimberley A

I ordered a pair of shoes online the funds were removed from my account no shipping details so I called Dr Comfort customer service they found my order asked me if I wanted the shoes I informed them I wouldn't have ordered them if they were not needed. I was then notified of a glitch with the online ordering process and they would get the shoes to me in 3 to 5 days evidently they were also able to hack into the pay status that I originally used for the online order and I found out a few hours later that my card was charged a 2nd time. I have attempted to get reimbursement without success. I can only assume that Dr Comfort has been feeling the economic hardships as everyone else in America and have resorted to stealing money from the disabled. I do not recommend ordering from Dr Comfort online if you don't have money to throw away.
