I hired SJS painter in October of 2021 to paint the windows in my house in the dining room and kitchen. I paid them $1,063.60 and the check cleared on Nov. 2, 2021. They completed the painting job, but in doing so, they broke my dining room windows hardware and thus the functionality of that window. It no longer closes all the way and it does not lock as it did before they painted it and it does not open at all. I was told several times by the manager that SJS would send their carpenters to my house to repair the windows. These carpenters still have not shown up to repair my window. I have communicated with the current manager, *****, over 10 times in the last 2 months. In September and early October he assured me that he would take care of this situation and send *************************** out to make the repair. Its been over year, and SJS still has not delivered or kept their word. Despite my recent communications with ***** whom I have contacted via text and voicemail over 10 times in the last two months, I still have a broken window. ***** now just blatantly ignores my calls and texts even though he said he would send *************************** out to fix everything on September 12, 2022. At this point because of their complete lack of professionalism and lack of plain common courtesy, I do not trust them to complete this job in a correct manner, even if they do show up. I would like a billing adjustment from SJS to cover the cost of repairing the window. I will hire someone else entirely for this repair, but SJS should be held accountable for the monetary portion since they are the ones who broke the window.
