I hired Geneva Kitchen and Bath to remodel our bathroom. I decided to go with them because they were a local small business, which I support. This project ended in disappointment and frustration. The project extended well beyond the contractual timeline, work to be completed per the contract was incomplete, and they never returned to finish. I am absolutely disappointed in the fact that we were very patient and considerate, to be let down this way. Geneva Kitchen and Bath carry themselves very unprofessional, inconsiderate, and selfishly. It is sad because this is a company that gives bad businesses their reputations. We had many issues with communication, where they did not return to work for days and had every excuse as to why, multiple times. Honesty and integrity goes a long way, which you will not get with Geneva Kitchen and Bath. There was shoddy work that was done and covered up by putting “lipstick on a pig.” Decisions were made on their behalf without communicating with us and getting prior approval, bathroom was to be finished to a “level 5,” and if I’m being honest, I’d give the work a level 3 at best. Something’s that are so simple such as caulking we’re not done. We constantly had to purchase additional material because of Geneva Kitchen and Bath’s failure of knowledge. Some parts were purchased by us, not installed and taken by Geneva Kitchen and Bath. Our kitchen ceiling was damaged by Geneva Kitchen and Bath, in which they poured a 5 gallon bucket of mortar mud waste water down our toilet bowl flange and missed, causing water to drain to the first floor kitchen. This required them to take 3 days to address this issue, while the contracted bathroom remodel work was sidelined. Honestly, I could go on and on about this company. I highly recommend you save yourself the HEADACHES, MONEY, TIME & STRESS. I hoped for this to be a good experience, now we’ve got to find a contractor, who we can trust, to correct Geneva Kitchen and Baths short comings.
