Painting occurred between 7-19-23 and 7-23-23. Invoice for $2,700. No amount paid. We, the homeowner wanted the exterior wood repainted, To include, facia, soffit, and decorative boards. Painters miss understood and just did *****. When painters arrived, homeowner went over what needed to be painted. To include facia, soffit, and decorative boards. Homeowner requested new garage door and wood steps, in addition to previous. ******* agreed, When job was done, only one side of facia was painted, in addition to new garage door and wood steps. Old paint chips still remain every where, and the quality of work is very poor. Homeowners contacted painter and asked for an explanation. We wish to have the invoice adjusted and we will be having a different painter finish the job.

My involvement with *********************** began with a text from *********************. **** had painted the inside of ******************************* In ********  In the text **** asked if I could estimate the painting of the fascia on the peaks of the front and back of the house as well as the overhang on front stoop.  He included 3 pictures of those areas. I responded in a text.  ***** later **** texted me that he forgot to give me Meghans phone number.  I called her and she indicated they wanted to list the house.  I responded I hadnt realized that so I would rearrange my schedule to put her next. I said wed be there Thursday July 20th.  Because we finished a job in *************** early I called her and said wed start Wednesday afternoon the 19th.  In our 2 phone calls no details were discussed. I initiated both calls.  My grandson *** and I arrived and began setting up ladders and scraping. ****** arrived and I asked if she could check in the basement for cans of paint for a color match.  Thursday July 20 we arrived after spending about an hour matching paint to a small paint chip at ******************************* on Odana.  We continued scraping, priming and painting the fascia.  ****** arrived  and unlocked the garage doors so we could paint all sides.  She left immediately.  She then asked if we could paint the gutters.  I said yes which we did.  Friday.  Again ****** showed up to unlock garage doors and left within minutes.it was then she mentioned painting soffits for the first time.  I realized I wouldnt be able to finish in the time alloted and Friday ended with me scrambling to try to get as much done as I could so I worked right up to the time I had to leave causing me to leave paint chips on front stoop.  I figured I would be back the next week and could clean up then. I left an invoice as I told ************** would for work done thus far.  I indicated also that I was committed to another customer on Monday but could return on Tuesday July 24th.  I also said that because of the steep incline next to garage I wouldnt be able to reach some of the soffit with a ladder and would have rent a lift at $275 a day.   That evening I received a call from someone named ***********  Sadly the call was mostly accusatory and combative.  Even sadder was my adding the same tone.  I referenced the the text **** had sent me to defend my position.  I was frustrated since Id moved them up ahead of other customers, had made several trips to ******************************* on Odana to match up paint colors and had agreed to the extra work.  During the call ***** had said the fascia looked good.  He ended the call by saying they had some thing to do.  So I waited for their call intending to finish the job.  I didnt hear anything until I received your letter.  *** Voeltner, owner/operator of Voeltner painting
