I feel compelled to share my harrowing experience with Everdry. In my opinion, they prey on vulnerable homeowners that do not know what a waterproofing job entails, overcharges egregiously (up to 3x that of competitors), and resorts to manipulative tactics to squeeze every last dime out of unsuspecting customers.Their pricing is astronomical, to say the least. After signing the contract for them to do the work, we obtained more quotes and realized that Everdry charges 2-3 times more than what other reputable companies charge to waterproof a basement. And when I questioned the exorbitant price tag from Everdry, they gave me some convoluted explanation about their patented process. Their patent is wildly unnecessary because even if it wasnt patented, no one would do it that way in the first place its a waste of time and money. But the real kicker? They exploit peoples lack of knowledge to squeeze every last ***** out of them. They ******* them with scare tactics about potential flooding and structural damage, painting doomsday scenarios that leave them feeling like they have no choice but to fork over their money.And if their predatory pricing and targeting weren't bad enough, their manipulative tactics take the cake. They use high-pressure sales techniques, refusing to take no for an answer and employing every trick in the book to guilt-trip you into signing on the dotted line. I asked them for a line by line breakdown of the contract we signed and they refused. Cut to the sales rep ranting for 30 minutes straight to try to get us to honor the contract that would have cost $26,000, saying how could you do this to me, my **** is on the line. I could get fired because of you and I trusted you. Luckily we were able to cancel the contract after getting more quotes for the work.In short, steer clear of Everdry at all costs. They're nothing but a bunch of charlatans who sell an overpriced and useless patented idea
