In my opinion,,,, this is a company that may or probably did start out on the positive BUT after a few years in business became very poor, the reason I say this is an follows,,,, I needed some plumbing work, so after being recommended to use chain o lakes plumbing,,,I called for an appointment,,, THEN they canceled due to mistake,,,then 2nd time was told appointment, told me wrong time ,supposed to be 9 they were when they felt like it ,,,that was rescheduled So the 3rd appointment, came out did NOT bring the tools or supplies needed ,,,the repair guy went back to shop 2 times, then when supposed to be done it was leaking on his new work ,,so I called he came back ,,,left still dripping,,, AFTER. Further review i find parts that were just wasted and not used,,,,THEN I get billed for all his mistakes,,, should I have to pay his time to drive around in a circle????? Then I called to ask about the bill, was told ,that the was the way it is???? I said talk to the tech and get the story, I thought I hired a professional not an amateur,,,

The review posted by this prior customer is in regard to a visit that was made to his residence on 2/28/2022. Chain O' Lakes Plumbing sent an employee to out to handle the customer's multiple issues, per our records, including: * The water heater line to the washer leaking * A second bedroom had low water pressure in the lav * The water line to the kitchen sink and the main water line valves were corroded and leaking. No issues were found to have been presented to Chain O' Lakes Plumbing by the customer. No payment has been made by the customer, although, several requests for payment were made. There is no evidence that the customer has attempted to make any special arrangement to pay his debt. The most recent invoice sent to the customer in February of 2022, included wording stating that a late payment fee of 1% per month (12% per year) would be added to any unpaid balances remaining after 30 days. The customer's response was to file a defamatory review with the BBB. Following are our responses to the accusations made: The customer was not pleased with the appointment process. He noted that a mistake was made. That is possible. We are human. He noted that an appointment change was made. The change could have been due to many reasons. It can be because we have additional time to handle the appointment sooner because they were done early with the job before sooner than expected. Sometimes we must adjust the schedule because the job the plumbers are on is more extensive than what it was believed to be and it takes more time to complete it. Changes can be due to a number of reasons but would never be done to irritate a customer. We apologize for any inconveniences caused and thank our customers for being understanding. The person making the review also stated that "the repair guy went back to the shop 2 times." The work order data recorded does indicate that additional parts were needed, and it appears that the plumber went to a nearby store to purchased what was needed as it was not something that was on the truck. It is practical to carry the most often used and needed items but it is not possible to carry every possible item before it is known what the exact issue(s) may be. Time was logged by the plumber as being in at 8:00 am and out at 10:15 am. A list of parts used to fix the issues was listed on the work order and included 25' of pipe for the new lines that had to be run. There are items installed in his house by his request that do not belong to him as he has not yet paid his bill, but he is using them on a regular basis. The plumber was paid his wages and the business is still at a loss for assisting this customer. The customer stated that he found parts that were wasted and not used. It is not our practice to leave trash at a jobsite. If unused, we would keep it for future potential use and we take our trash back to the shop with us. We do not bill for parts that are not used.We take great pride in caring for our customers and do our best to leave things looking unblemished after we depart. We will lay plastic on carpets if there is potential of soiling flooring. Chain O' Lakes Plumbing has received the Rising Star Award two years in a row; 2021 and 2022, from the ******* Area Chamber of Commerce. It seems reasonable that concerns should have been voiced early in 2022. Waiting a year to file a disparaging review after receiving a bill that is saying it is going to increase if it is not paid soon, can easily be construed as a vehement attempt to avoid paying a seriously delinquent debt. Typically, payment issues are presented to the business owner for resolution. Since this customer has not yet contacted us to let us know what his debt resolution needs or expectations are, we invite him to reach out and let us know so that this can be settled in a more reasonable and businesslike manner.

ok, well at least they are admitting fault but refusing to take responsibility. First , if we read there own writing , the last current bill was Feb 2022. so they have not given this any thought or consideration. A professional business sends monthly statements. Second , ihave not tried to get in contact with them , Then PLEASE explain why 11 months ago , I tried calling multiple times AND LEFT A REVIEW on there WEBSITE ... still no reply. There own website has my review and it was posted 11 months ago, There own website says Customer Satisfaction Guaranteed!!! So, in there opinion, it is okay so schedule and hang a potentional customer causing them financial inconveniences, I had to take a day off work , and they hung me not once but twice. SO yes, legally there mistake caused me financial inconvenience, BUT when there employee comes unprepared to do a job , the customer can pay extra. They say leaving a project twice to get a 25 foot hose is acceptable ? they do not deny the plumber did not have the tools to do the job! A plumber should have a complete set of tools to do the job that is why a professional is called, They do not deny the plumber was called back a third time in the day to correct his mistake . read the initial complaint , the water leaked,,, , so leaving a property three times from **** to ***** , is considered acceptable, IN conclusion, I have tried multiple times in the first month both phone calls and a REVIEW on there website DATED 11 months ago. I tried to contact them. There ," inconvenience me " yes i took days off work , if they would of fullfilled there verbal contract , and showed up i iwould not of lost 2 days pay. there website says customer satisfaction guaranteed,. YES, in the past and too important clients they might be a good company , They referrence there awards but are NOT acknowledging there own website reviews?? I tried to contact them multiple times they have my phone number and are welcome to call and resolve there errors. But they refuse to talk ,,,
