    On 3/1/23, Olson Tire did some work on my car. Invoice *******. In April I took it back because the engine light was on and the car was misfiring. Olson replaced the ignition coil pack and did some other work. The invoice total was $411. I'll try to find it. The very next day when I put the car in reverse, the engine light came on and the car continued to misfire. At some point Olson replaced all 4 spark plugs. On my 3rd visit the owner's son tried to tell me someone was deliberately trying to scare me by purposely damaging the spark plugs. However, the damaged spark plugs came from Olson Tire. Both the owner, ***, and his son **** have wasted my time and caused me to miss several doctor ************* **** promised a partial refund on the $411 invoice but I have received nothing. I had to go to a 2nd service garage to get an unbiased opinion. They were the ones to say that Olson had not fixed the ignition coil, the spark plugs were cracked. I would like my $$$ back.     My elderly uncle brings his car in for repair/service there often. He needed help replacing his license plates with new ones; he was told to make an appointment (which ended up being 4 days later). Not only was he charged $71.57 for this minimal service, he was also charged for a new bolt. When he got home he saw the plate wasn't tight to the car and when he went to tighten it, the bolt was still stripped! He is not a rich old man. I'm certain it took the mechanic only a few minutes to change that license plate. The bolt was not replaced. I feel that he was treated very shabbily and unfairly by this business that SEEMS to pride itself on family values!!!! They should be ashamed of themselves.

    ************ do not understand the rationale behind sending this review to the BBB. You communicated directly with us and we shared the full story, yet you still only stated here what was an incorrect account. We discussed with you that your uncle did bring his car in ( and yes, I do apologize we are a very busy shop with a backlog of clients waiting for their repairs ) - but that's another story. The reason your uncle needed help was that the bolts holding his license plate on were stripped. And the only way to access those bolts to remove them required us removing the interior panels of the car to access the back of the bolts. We were then able to extract them, install the license plates, and then reinstall the interior panels of the car. Your uncle was actually here almost an hour and we only charged for thirty minutes . If there remains a loose bolt, we shared that we would happily correct that at n/c. But we did not hear back from either you or your uncle. You asked us to work for free, and while I did offer a significant discount on the original service to assist as I often do for guests, we are unable to maintain our business if we work for free. He did not seem displeased to us. I am unsure what more we are expected to do.
