The star rating is 0! Aqua Finance charges a "Daily" Interest rate and they do not put enough of your payment towards the principal balance. This is unfair and it is bad business. You will never pay your loan off if the majority of your monthly payment is going to them. DO NOT use this company to finance anything.

I've called them 5 times since last Wednesday the 7th trying to get them to send me a Statement of Account so I can go somewhere else to get this loan refinanced at a more reasonable rate. They are charging me a finance interest rate of *****% and an additional $12.50 in daily accrued interest. This is absolutely OUTRAGEOUS. I can't get anyone to email me my Statement of Account and I have a right to it yet they keep charging me daily. I feel like they are intentionally giving me the run around and I feel that I was falsely misled when they agreed to finance my loan.Aqua Finance, Inc. Response

I've done some research, after the fact, into Aqua Finance Company: I hadn't thought to do a BBB search on them, but wish I did. I'm upset and disgusted that my aunt, at 91 years of age, was taken advantage of by this company! She and I listened as our representative touted all the bells and whistles of the ********* System, who is financed by Aqua Finance Company. Ultimately, the only things that were done were: 2-3 existing sensors installed by ADT, batteries were replaced; 1 brand new sensor was installed; a new updated keypad installed; a free medi-alert pendant given to my aunt: for $10-11 more than her previous device; and two new key fobs given, with the amount of $6000 being 'financed'. She had been in the hospital and recently discharged; this is causing her a lot of distress!! AND, I have read these other reviews? how can a company take advantage of ANYONE? After all the bells and whistles wore off, what do we have to show for this monumental financed amount? NADA! This isn't OZ and we've pulled the curtain back!!! I only regret on the review that I can't give a MINUS ONE RATING!!Aqua Finance, Inc. Response

Aqua finance is a scam. In 2019, we bought a new home and had a water softener and air purifier installed. Both of the units equaled $12000.00. Terms of the loan were we would pay $138.00 monthly with $131.00 being the actual payment and $138.00 includes the monthly interest with the total balance being paid off in about 7-8 years. We have good credit and were given a fixed interest rate. We were supposedly given .5 off for auto pay. Well, I finally look to see the payoff amount as it has been almost 5 years and the statement says we still owe $8600. $8600 after 56 months...never missing a payment!? Further research shows they have been charging us exorbitant interest fees monthly increasing the total cost of our loan. It was a loan with a set monthly payment for the water softener and air purifier. I called and they state, "it is a revolving li ne of credit....like a credit card". What a bunch of **** If that were the case we never would have agreed to the LOAN. We could have financed it through our own bank. I want Aqua Finance to correct our balance to what we actually owe and give us back any additional monies paid. P.S. the equipment works wonderfully and the local company comes out to service it when necessary. It is Aqua Finance that are the scammers.Aqua Finance, Inc. Response

Like so many others I wish I could give zero stars. If I had been given the choice of the finance company for our kitchen renovation, it sure as heck would not have been this one. No matter how much extra I pay I can never get the balance down because of the outrageous daily interest. There's no end in sight short of a miracle windfall of money our way to pay it off in full. But who has $23k just laying around? Not us. This can't be legal, but it seems they have been getting away with this for years and will continue to do so, leaving us forced to pay with the majority of the money only going to the interest. The even bigger joke is their copy & paste response to each of our complaints on BBB site.... we pay $250.00 p/mo., $169.79 in interest and ONLY $80 goes towards the principle!!!!!??? Highway robbery. This is insane. at this rate my grandchildren will still be paying this off long after I'm gone. Word of warning to the consumer; when doing any kind of repairs, renovations or major purchases for your home upkeep, if the company you're going through offers financing first ask is it in house or out? If out, find out who the company is first... if it's Aqua Finance... BEWARE AND DON'T DO IT!!!Aqua Finance, Inc. Response

If I could give O zero stars that would be my rating. This company is a SCAM! Stay away! My husband and like many other first time owners fall for this water system trap.They offered us 10 years of household products like dish soap, detergent, shampoo etc. awesome right?! We only received it the first year and now we're going on year 3 and we haven't received anything since signing up. Oh and did I mention we also didn't receive the "****** gift card" promised when signing the contract. Just a terrible company! We've called multiple times and left voicemails with no success. We were also promised every 2 years our system would get maintenance done and no one has reached out. Again we are going on 3 years, 2 years without receiving the product or gift card and no maintenance. DON'T FALL FOR THEIR SCAM!Aqua Finance, Inc. Response

************* sold my RV loan to Aqua Finance. On my first statement there is no place to indicate the additional principal I have been sending for the last 6 years to ************* each and every month. When I called Aqua their rep. indicated they don't have to indicate the additional principal amount and it is up to me if they acknowledge the additional amount and if they have credited the correct amount to my loan. Any loan I have had in the last 60 years always acknowledges the amount of additional principal and the correct balance then owed after the additional principal is credited to my account.
