I had Josh ***** of JMENN LLC Home Services repair the hoop building that covers my garden. It was a type of a job I doubt he ever was asked to do before since few people have a garden set-up as I do. Not only did he have to replace the plastic covering for this 30' by 72' building, but he had to replace the rotting wood along the base and midway up, which required a lot of digging through sod and dealing with rusted bolts that were hard to remove. Josh did a great job! Not only did he complete the job quickly, but was so pleasant despite having to work in the hot and humid weather we were having. July 2024

JMENN Home Services (Josh *****) represented himself as a licensed and insured contractor (not true) and came over on 7/1/2023, measured to replace 3 doors (two sliding glass doors and one front door), confidently assuring he could complete the job. Josh came on 10/27/2023 to install them, after removing and damaging our existing front door, he realized the new door he mis-measured and was too big by FOUR INCHES. He proceeded to widen our existing doorframe and install the front door anyway, which took much longer than expected and he said this caused him to not be able to complete the remainder of the job. The front door was white and he put brown wood trim around it, and we asked him to replace it with white. He came back on 11/10/2023 and angrily replaced the trim with white trim, leaving more than 60 very deep nail holes in the new trim and then told us if we wanted it cosmetically appealing we could putty and paint it ourselves. When we attempted to contact him to schedule the completion of the job (installing the remaining 2 doors), he said we were harassing him, blocked our phone numbers, and refuses to even acknowledge that he did any work for us, even though we have photo proof. Waited to see if Josh would make it right (he said he would fix issues), we finally had a new contractor come out to complete the remainder of the work and that is when we realized one of the other ordered sliding doors was also mismeasured (too tall by THREE INCHES) and is unusable. The company it was ordered from will not return it because the liability would be assumed by the contractor who mismeasured. Josh ***** is unable to be reached due to him blocking our phone numbers / emails. We are currently storing the unusable door in our own garage because Josh ***** was not confident that he could store it himself without potentially damaging it. Customers beware!! He won't own his mistakes or fix issues. Josh refused to give an invoice for the labor and demanded cash.
