    We have not received the promised refund.We checked in on 02-03-2023 to find the pool, hot **** ************ all closed due to damaged caused by a leaky roof. The pool & hot tub had been closed due to roof dripping containments & on going plumbing issues. The restaurant had been closed due to mold contamination for the dripping roof. The roof was leaking & there was a definite musty odor in the rooms. Most of the games (Pool, Air Hockey, etc..) were covered because of the dripping water from the ceiling. The roof repairs are taking longer than normal due to ******* shortages that is delaying getting the job done. This has been an ongoing issue for months, so we should have been informed of these issues when we were booking the rooms. The breakfast was without the normal hot dishes because of the restaurant being closed & the normal breakfast room being impacted by the leaky roof.At check in we were told that we could cancel, but that they would not be able to rebook us through the hotel for those same rooms. The hotel was discounting there rooms because of the inconvenience & lack of amenities. I was told that if I called the reservation counter, which is where we booked our room through. They would approve the refund. I reconfirmed this when we checked out with ***** that they would approve the refund.We called the Reservation Counter later that day & was told that the hotel denied the refund. I called the hotel multiple times before finally getting someone on the phone. They were going to have the manager call me. I am still waiting on that call. I want the refund we were promised. We paid over $500 for ********************* that had known issues at the time of the booking.

    The front desk employee on shift this day ruined our experience by stalking us, harassing us, and acting unprofessional. She prowled the second level and watched every move we made. She complained about us having a bicycle indoors and told us to remove it, however it was a gift for the party and wasn't even being ridden. She complained we had a blow-up ball for the pool. She complained that we were over the party capacity by two people and that she'd be charging us an additional fee. Mind you, four people from our party had a room reserved already. She made unprofessional comments about how she wished she had some alcohol to drink. When we spoke up for ourselves, she said we were threatening her and called 911 saying we were throwing an outrageous pool party and were out of control. It was a non-alcoholic kids birthday party with a bunch of adults eating pizza while 5 kids played in a pool. She also was saying racial slurs to my fiancé as him and his family are mexican/american. We were told by the employee that we would not be seeing any of our money back even though we paid for our room, the party which she ruined and were charged extra. What should have been a $150 payment turned in to almost $300 for the 3 1/2 hours we were allowed to stay. I cannot believe we had to leave with a police escort and kids crying, didn't even get a chance to open presents. It was pretty sad when even the police officers were on our side. Not to mention the hotel wasn't busy at all& there was only ONE other couple in the pool area with us. Our kids were not even misbehaving, they were quiet, minding their business in the pool as were we in the corner with our guests and tables. At the least we should be given our money back. The employee also refused to give us the managers number and stated she didn't care about the customer service complaint since the the hotel would be torn down in two months anyway.
