I purchased an ultrasound device from GE on their website Dec 4, 2023 for use in my practice as a doctor. The cost of the device (including tax) was $5,184.14 and I paid in full with a credit card. I received the device a little over a week later. I then got an invoice in the mail around the 17th of December and checked my credit card account online - the payment had been returned to my account. I notified GE by phone and email (number and address on the invoice) and paid in full via wire transfer 12/17/23. I reached out to a GE rep who assured me payment had been received. Then, on 12/22/23 I was charged the full price of the device again - an additional $5,184.14. I reached out to GE again and they indicated that someone would reach out to me and a refund would be issued. I tried calling and emailing GE several times and eventually *******************, an account receivable specialist reached out on 1/8/24. They asked that I fill out a refund form and W-9, I asked that they just refund my credit card and they insisted the forms were necessary. I faxed and emailed the forms, including my checking account info for transfer of the money, on 1/8/24. I still have not received my money. I have emailed ******************* for updates on 5 separate occasions and still have no idea when I will receive my money. They last informed me 1/31/24 that the refund had met 9 of 10 approval steps and requested patience.Customer response

Our facility purchased several ** MAC VU360 EKG machines, part of the purchase included ** techs coming on site to setup the devices. Initial device setup requires new password creation, the ** Techs used several different passwords (Bad Practice), didn't give our Clinical **************** any of the passwords, I was able to get a few of the device passwords but one I haven't been able to get, the tech that installed it can't even remember. I have contacted ** several times about this issue, they keep insisting on a purchase order but I will not pay them to resolve an issue they have created. I can reinstall the software to correct this issue but require information on how to access the install screen, which is not covered by the service manual, but they will not proceed with this information without a purchase order.
