On September 14, 2023 I was at the **************************************. I purchased a beverage from a Canteen Vending Services vending machine. The item I purchased was $3.50. It was a ************** Drink. I paid in cash with a $5 bill. I put the five dollar bill in, received my beverage, but my change was never dispersed. I wrote down the number on the machine and called it. I got a live person on the other end. They identified as an answering service only. They did not represent the company. They told me I could call back. I called back next week on Wednesday September 20th when I got home from out of state. The person I talked to took down my information including my email. They said they would forward my information to corporate. I believe their corporate offices are located in *********, **. They said to look for an email 2 weeks from this Friday. That email would contain my refund info they said. Well, October 6th came and I never received any email. A week later, I never received any email contact from the company. I called the company again and got an answering service with no help. Then, I visited their website. It says on their website if you paid by ****, please contact your local branch for a refund. So, I went to visit the branch at ********************** I believe it was October 26, (I can't remember the exact date) at around noon. This branch is on my way to work and near my residence. I knocked on the door and a gentleman answered the door. He let me in, I was courteous and polite. And I proceeded to tell him what happened and to request a refund. Then, a lady came out from back and was listening in. Before I could finish, this heavy set lady with sweats and a t-shirt came up to me and said get the ***** out really loud three times. She kept swearing at me and f- bombing me. And she insulted me. I remained calm and polite. Eventually I left. I contacted the company about this. No reply. Would like my $1.50 back for the machine that took my money.
