    BBB has detected a pattern of complaints for Right Choice Construction, LLC involving consumers stating they have paid for services that have not been completed, or being dissatisfied with services that have been performed. Some consumers also state that their attempts to reach out to the business to communicate their concerns have gone unanswered.

      The gutters and roof were installed incorrectly as well as gutters falling off less then 6 months after installation had another gutter company come out because right choice was avoiding our calls about the broken gutter so we called a roofing company come out to check on the roof and they said it was installed improperly and it would need to be redone

      Customer called and stated that their gutter fell off their house we had told them not to worry as it is covered under the warranty they proceeded to call looking for a date. I had personally talk to them and let them know that our gutter machine was being tuned up, understood and that we wouldve been in touch within 2 to 3 weeks.  There was absolutely nothing wrong with the installation of the roof or the gutters. The gutter screws seem to have pulled out from the wood. Not sure how this wouldve happened however it was covered under the warranty again. Last week we had reinstalled gutter free of charge to customer we have now addressed all issues and concerns that the customer had outlined in their complaint As far as the Refund there will be no refund at this point as the roof is installed for manufacturer specs. Gutters are installed for manufactures specs. You need any more clarification. Please feel free to reach out to me at any time.

      I paid a deposit. I cancelled the job in the required three days. This was December 13. 2023.Since then I have called four times after giving them amble time to refund my deposit. I have emailed. The last time I called I was told to just keep calling every day, even though the person I talk to "would tell the office".

      I had a composite deck installed and it has trip hazards, which I have told them about many times and keep getting the run around. The deck was guaranteed, A guy came out in July and said they would fix it, he also said he wouldnt be happy with the way it is. Ever since then I have been getting the run around, back in the first part of October they said it will be next week, but next week never comes. I am totally fed up with this company now they wont even answer the phone, I have left my name and number and no one calls back. When you call the number it says your call is very important to us, what a joke. Im hoping to get some satisfaction now after this.

      I have been contacting this company by phone for 6 months to schedule repairs on my screen porch I purchased from them in April of 2021. The warranty covers these repairs (the roof still leaks) and I have been put off with excuses every time.

      we had 6 windows replaced by this company for $ ********. in 2022. they provided us with a 50 year warranty, we had to file a complaint with BBB after several attempts to have them repair a faulty window spring which they did the repair within 1 week of contacting BBB. Now the same window has both springs broken. we have made several attempts to contact them. but seems like they have changed their phone number as we get 1 ring then a busy signal unless they have blocked our number. we are very dissatisfied with this company.

      I hired right choice Construction ** to tear down a chimney and shingle the roof and side the front of the house they kept pushing it back the date, the I had to sell my house they never gave me my $8900.00 back I'm a disabled veteran I can't believe that he would rob a veteran but he has!! I don't want him to take advantage of another veteran that way

      They received $2,273 from me on June 8,2022 for down-payment to replace a picture window. The signed contract said it would be **** weeks. I have emailed them, called them and sent 2 different certified mail requests for a refund and have never received a response. I even went to the business address but could not get anyone to answer the door. The reason it has been over 12 months is we have been trying to resolve this on our own.

      Im sorry you feel you are having this experience with Right Choice Construction. We had to reschedule one time due having to pick up children from school. You have since refused to reschedule with us and demanded to come on a day we could not make it happen. We were actively trying to reschedule as well as still trying to start your project. We never asked for any more money.  You and the owner had chatted about a possible roof replacement at one point, but we would never demand money from a customer or anyone. Thank you!

      In 2021 right choice did a new roof install. We got loan from their recommended finance. Immediately after we had wet spots in rooms. This company does not answer phones or have voicemail. A year later, I reached out through ********* Sept 2022 after ***** admitted it was their error, they sent a crew to fix it. They did not fix it.They used caulk, missing components,shingle, flashing, *************** issues. Allstate claims said improper installation. They didn't remove old decking and just put new decking on top of it. I have 8 ceilings with wet spots and a hallway with a crack in the ceiling the entire length of the hall. I sent pictures to ***** and no response. I received a shingle warranty which is now void and worthless. A roof I paid over $30,000 is junk. I want it replaced with new warranty. And I question the structural integrity of my home. I have pictures and texts for documentation and will be sending complaints to state and federal agencies, as I feel it is not only extremely poor workmanship for a professional roofer, but criminal under ********* trade laws. I want my roof replaced and the damage caused by right choice repaired asap. This is causing extra stress- financial and mental. I sent an email to them today 6/16/23, with pictures, as my certified letter was undeliverable. Hopefully they choose to be the right choice and fix this serious issue immediately.

      Rich from Right Choice came to the house, looked at roof and interior damage. At this point he said he was going to review everything and get back to us next week, it is holiday. I'm not satisfied until it's finished. I am happy he has reached out and hopeful it gets resolved quickly.

      He has been in contact, however, nothing has been resolved. My roof is not being fixed, my interior is not being painted and ceiling crack is not fixed. I have insurance statements and quotes from roofing companies, it is clearly not installed correctly and needs replaced. This is stressful and needs a higher priority from him and his company, considering I paid upfront, with a loan handled through his salesman.

      The Owner - Rich met with the Installer at ******************** home.

      Rich and the installer were able to identify the real issue is that there is no sofit ventilation. This issue has no relation to the project we did for ****************. Rich and the installer also diagnosed that there is a bathroom vent that is venting into the attic causing even more moisture in the attic. 

      After review, the solution is to vent the attic by installing 4 turbine vents to remove the humid air from the attic and vent the bath fan through the roof.

      Again, the issues that are listed above are at no fault of Right Choice Construction. We completed the project that we were contracted to do, and the issues **************** is having are unrelated to the scope of the work that we were contracted to do.

      Venting of a roof is part of the original work. According to state of WI requirements for the industry, it is required they correctly vent the roof upon installation. The area of most leaking is where 2nd floor and 1st floor join. There is ZERO soffit in that area. The damage to hall ceiling is his installer walking on it. I was compromising with him. The house has a different feel since it is properly vented. However, I will be contacting DATCP to inspect and verify the work. I have 2 professional contractors and ****************** that have said it is improperly installed. Venting is only a piece of the issue. Tiles not placed correctly. Leaking 1 month after installation, no flashing in areas, not being vented. Horrible contractor and I will be moving forward with DATCP. I will also move forward with civil and criminal charges. The owner and his company are not to be trusted.
