I signed up for a membership in July and then asked to cancel in September. I called the company and requested to cancel and was informed they do not allow cancellations over the phone. I then proceeded to visit the business in person where I again asked to cancel my membership and was convinced to freeze my account instead. I explained that I wanted to cancel my account because I no longer needed treatment and could not afford the membership. I was informed that if I froze my account I could maintain a lower price member ship and if after the freeze I still wanted to cancel I could. I was informed I would receive 3 notifications prior to my account being reactivated and being charged. I received a single notification telling me two weeks before I I was going to be charged. I then called the company back and asked if I could please just cancel the membership due to not needing it and finding it difficult to travel to the location. I was told I could not cancel over the phone and needed to cancel in writing. I asked if I could please be emailed the form and was again told no. Due to health reasons and difficulty making the trip to the business location I was charged 2 more times for a membership i had asked to cancel multiple times. I proceeded to visit the location today to cancel only a couple days after being charged yet again to cancel and ask for a refund as I had not utilized this service since August 2022. I was talked down to and finally given cancellation paper work and told there is no way to get a refund. What kind of shady business will not allow a customer to cancel a membership via phone or email writing. Such a scam.
