On or about 7/12/21 I called Best-1 Heating and Plumbing and spoke to the owner ****. I asked him three specific questions regarding his costs. I was told the trip charge was $25, the hourly rate is $98 and was told the $98 an hour rate starts when he enters the house and laves the house.Because of the high hourly rate I made sure I recorded the times his plumber, *****, arrived in the house which was 2:15 PM (on or about 7/14/21) and left the house at 3:58PM. When I received the invoice dated 7/15/21 for $290.28 I instantly noted ***** charged me for 2 hours (how convenient) and the trip charge was $30.I called **** the next day and explained to him ***** falsified the time by 15 minutes and overcharged $5 for the. trip charge. He adjusted for a senior discount for a total of $274.46. I paid that amount. He owes me $13.68 not taking in consideration taxes. I want that money back out of principal and will never use him again.Business response

I am responding to the letter of complaint submitted 8/11/2021.
I am not refunding any money back to this customer, as I have already talked to him and reduced my fees to which he agreed. He submitted payment in-full for the invoice which shows me he was content with the service. Yet, he writes a letter to the BBB asking for yet another refund and states he will never use us again.
