I contacted Bulldogs Tree Service on the recommendation of a neighbor 8/15/2024 to get a quote on removing 3 trees. They promptly came out the next day to give me an estimate, which I felt was reasonable. Originally, they told me it would be a couple of weeks before they could do the job, but called 2 days later to state they were not going to be able to access one of the jobs they had planned for the following day and wanted to go ahead with mine. I agreed, but advised them no one would be at home that day. I stopped by the property on my way out of town the next day, shortly after they started work and stood talking to the owner for 15 minutes. There did not seem to be any confusion as to which trees they were removing. When I got an hour out of town, they called to say they were confused about one of the trees. I clearly told them the trees in front of the porch touching the gutter were to go. When my renters returned home that evening, I found out they had not removed one of the trees. Four weeks later, after multiple phone calls, texts, and broken promises, they still have not been out to finish the job, nor have they issued partial refund of payment.Initial Complaint

I hired Bulldog Tree Services in April of 2023 to remove a pine tree from my side yard. The services to be provided were the tree removed and the stump grinded out for $1000. The tree was removed on April 21st or 22nd. I was told that the owner sends his wife out to grind out the stump after the tree is removed. The wife came back to collect payment of $1000 on April 24th and said that she would be back soon to grind out the stump. Fast forward to August, I reached out inquiring about the work not being completed & was told they didn't do much work over the summer and they would put me on the schedule for fall. I inquired again on October 23rd and was told that I was on the schedule for November 4th. Fast forward again to today, Feb 15th, I have inquired again with no immediate response. I would like the job finished OR a 50% refund so I can hire someone else to finish the job.Customer response
