I dropped a dirt bike off at Bub's Cycle & ATV for repairs. After 9 months of waiting for “back ordered parts” (found out that no parts were ever actually on back order when I came to address the labor charges) I was tired of the situation and decided to take the bike and just pay for the work that had been done to that point. ($350 roughly) They were told not to preform the rest of the requested work and to cancel any order for the back ordered parts since I would be picking up the bike and we were so far off schedule. When I go to pick it up all the sudden these back ordered parts are in and are already installed on the bike and it just needed put back together. I was upset since they were told not to and to cancel the order but still agreed to pay for it since it was already on the bike. Went to get it 3 days ago and the same problem it was brought in for is happening still. It wouldn’t even start when we arrived to pick it up and it’s supposed to be test driven before we get there so that apparently didn’t happen. Once the bike was finally starting it’s backfired non stop while driving it. This was the issue it was originally brought there for. I went to discuss the 500 in labor charges since the problems weren’t fixed and was told it’s normal for it to do that. So they took in a bike for repair that they now say isn’t something that needs repaired. They also refused to to get rid of labor charges and told me they would re-jet the carb if I agreed to pay for it to be done. I didn’t trust them enough to do any more work to my bike. I believe the amount that was charged to me is unfair considering the work that was done wasn’t done properly and the bike was with them 7 months longer than the promised date because they didn’t feel like working on it and continued to lie to me about parts .Business response

We appologize that the customer was not satisfied. We did the work the customer originally requested. Technician found numerours other repairs needed. Called customer phone had been disconnected. Customer called us months after machine was dropped off to see if repairs were finished. Informed customer that original repairs had been done but machine needed numerous other repairs. Customer asked if the machine runs was told yes, it does run. Customer said not to do anymore repairs they would be in to pick it up.
