Horrible customer service, was hung up on by at least two of their agents, one being a supervisor, each agent including supervisor pointed fingers to ******** and the IRS to resolve my issue regarding direct deposit of my amended taxes for last year stating those two entities could update my bank info for the deposit, never again will I ever use either services

This bank is a partner with credit karma. Couldn’t find credit karma bbb by itself. They froze my account. Asked me to send pictures of my driver’s license and a selfie of me holding it. I did as they asked. I’ve called four days in a row now telling them my electric was going to be cut off. Every time they tell me the same thing over and over. They are looking into and they will email. I told them today I wanted to speak to a supervisor. Because of them my electric did get turned off. They put me on hold and then told me they don’t have a supervisor. Then I asked for a manager. Said they didn’t have one. Told him I want to speak to someone above him. He then said his supervisor was on the phone. Before he said he wasn’t there. So they are liars too. Now I can’t get my power back on because my account is frozen. They aren’t trying to fix it. It takes two minutes to look at the email then unfreeze my account. It’s clearly me. I will shut this account down once I get my money. Do not do business with them. The customer service is out in India and hard to understand. Try someone local.

MVB Bank is unprofessional and is in default which makes their checks "red flagged" so *******, **** *******, check cashing places, other banks ect...will NOT cash any checks from MVB Bank because they can't do business right and pay back the check cashing places for cashing other people's checks! I'm S.O.L out of my own money and the bank acts like they are unaware of them being in default. They obviously don't care about customer service because Ive sent their email address about ten(10) emails and have yet to hear a response! This has been an ongoing issue for about two months now and still has not made any progress. I don't understand how this bank is still standing with all the complaints. Their customer service skills are rude, unhelpful and like a game of marko polo. Very UNPROFESSIONAL! I've never seen this many complaints on any other banks institutions and them still be in business. So many accounts that are in their hands is so very scary because that's a lot of customers they are screwing out of their own money. Somebody needs to get MVB Bank's president involved and get issues handled and handled professionally! Do business right or don't do business at all! Simple!

At first this wasn't an issue but here recently I noticed all these FRAUDLENT CHARGES to my ****** ***** ***** acct through MVB Bank! they are 1.00, 19.99, 29.99, 5.00, 50.00, 248.00... When contacting support they will tell you to contact the company that withdrew the money HOWEVER if its NOT something that shows up on their end they will tell you to contact your personal bank! AND Conveniently ITS NOT MVB FAULT!!! Im watching my account dwindle as we speak and I'm wondering how MVB will compensate for my looses...Actually, I'm ready to sue if I dont get my money back! Always taking from the poor and making the criminals RICH!!!! I HATE THIS BANK!!! DO NOT USE!!! THIS BANKING SYSTEM IS WRONG!!! and even if this is on the hacking side then why isnt MVB able to stop these charges?!!!
