Saturday July 8th. I placed an online order through hardee's app. I went to pick it up & they said they had no food, no prep & couldn't give us our order & that they were sorry. I have never received a refund or any food that I paid for & they said they WILL NOT refund me or place my order. Their phone is disconnected. I've left feedback & asked someone to contact me on the website "Contact Us" form & from the app. I have messaged Hardee's on twitter. I am getting no responses. It was hot & we were thirsty & hungry. I had $19 on my debit & the total was almost $13. I go through drive thru to pick it up & the Hardee's employee said sorry, they can't make our order because they have no prep, no chicken, no fries. I'm like, well what are we going to do about it since I paid? They told me to park up front & a manager would come out. We parked out front in the heat with no air conditioning in the car, so thirsty & no one came out. After about 10 minutes when I was about to get out, a young employee came out & apologized & said I'd have to cancel from the app. I had the app open, the order said complete. It was already paid for. There was no way to cancel. I told him to show me. He took my phone & looked & said he didn't know & that I should call Hardee's corporate. 3 days passed. I tried to call but their phone number is disconnected. I can't get a hold of anyone at the corporate number. I've used their "Contact Us" form 3 times & messaged them on social media. I have gotten no response. I went back there yesterday & was very polite & the girl working said she was working that day & it was a mess & she was going to call her manager to see what she could do. I said I don't even need a refund; I would just take the order I placed that day that I never received. After 10 minutes or so, she said her manager & the district manager said there was nothing they could do. They wouldn't give us the food I paid for days earlier & wouldn't give me a refund.Customer response

RESOLVED: YES
I have received the refund, so this complaint/ matter is resolved.
Although, as of this time, I have not been contacted by Hardee's (directly) regarding complaint ID ********.
The refund WAS deposited back into my account.
