On July 6, 2023, I notified Camping World in Fairmont, WV, that we had traded in our camper that we bought from them to another dealer. I submitted the sales receipt showing the trade in so that the extended warranty could be refunded. I notified them by email to the finance department directly, also to Steve, the salesperson who was trying to work out a deal for us to purchase a camper with him, and also by direct message on their contact us page on their website. Contacted them again Tuesday, July 11, & spoke to a new hire in the finance department. After some searching in the email, he found my email and admitted that it was never even read. He was unable to help, but he forwarded the email to Kevin who was off that day & assured me that he would get back to me the next day. I did not hear back from Kevin. When I tried calling on Friday, July 14th, the receptionist refused to transfer me back to the finance department, telling me that he would call be "right back", then hung up on me as I was talking to her. I never heard back from the Fairmont location. That afternoon I contacted Camping World Corporate office by email. Monday I still had not been contacted by either corporate or Fairmont. I then contacted the corporate office by phone and they assigned me an account manager. I was asked for the contract number & sales information on the first camper sold by Camping World that needed to be refunded. The account manager called me a day or so later & said she reached out to Fairmont & would get back to me when she had a response. I had to call back a couple days later & was told that Kevin would be reaching out to me. He never did. I called back in to the case manager & she made yet another call to Kevin. He sent On July 27th, he finally submitted my refund after having the signed form for a week, & I was told 2-3 weeks I would receive my refund. I have reached out numerous times this week and my emails get ignored. I have not been refunded as of today, 8/30/23.Initial Complaint

We are on the first trip since purchasing this trailer. We were waiting to try and get everything finished that was supposed to be done when we purchased this travel trailer back in May of 2022. I have to say, after setting up and spending some time in it, this is by far the worst put together trailer I have ever seen. Poor fit, shoddy work, horrible materials. We paid $54,000.00 for this camper and are just completely appalled with what we have seen so far. We have contacted Camping World several times with our complaints and requests for repair with no resolution. In fact, they promise work orders and when we call to check the status, there isn't even a work order in place and not one person in service is aware of anything wrong with our camper. We have been paying for this camper since June of 2022 for a piece of crap. The table fell apart and the entire bench is broken and needs replaced. The rear cabinets just thrown together and are falling apart, not to mention they left out the bar to hang clothes ( wood support there). They broke a wall when attempting to repair an item in the kitchen. We found nail/screw sticking up into bathroom floor through the linoleum which will put a hole in flooring with use. There was a hole in the linoleum on the entrance that was hidden by a rug. There was missing trim in numerous places. This camper is just a hazard and we feel that we should not have to pay for an item that is in such disarray. These are just a few more we have found after spending more time in the trailer.Initial Complaint
