      May 18th 2022-I ordered a birdhouse replica of my house to give as a gift to my husband. I emailed ************************* before I submitted my payment through ****** and asked if it would be ready by the end of June 2022 for my husband's birthday which is June 20th. He said yes. I proceeded with the Payment. June 2nd, 2022- I received an email stating that he had a major technical issue and could not access the images that I had sent him of my house. This was received from the email address: **** @thebirdhousebarn.com. He instructed me to email him at *********************** I immediately send the photos of my house again to this new email address. I contacted him just about every month up until December of 2022. I would ask him if he had an ETA and if he could provide pictures of his work, so I could at least be at ease knowing that I wasn't getting scammed. He would always tell me that he was behind and that I needed to be more understanding. He would never give an explanation or send pictures. I waited and waited and it never came. I contacted ******, but probably to late for them to do anything. Life and sickness got in the way, so this got put on the back burner. I recently read reviews on this person and it seems to be a trend of him defrauding people and never sending them anything. I also read that multiple complaints have been filed with ****** and the BBB on *********************** and the Birdhouse Barn. I would love to get my money back and to keep this from happening to anyone else.

      Placed an order on 9/7/22 in the amount of $937.00. As of today, May 3, 2023, I have not received my order. There have been numerous emails back and forth with promised dates and last email said it was shipped and enclosed ***** shipping information. There was NO tracking number and my email asking for the information has not been answered as of last week. Today was supposed to be delivery day and still not here and no response from The Birdhouse Barn. I paid for my order in full in September and still have not received merchandise. Have read reviews on this business and wish I had seen them sooner. I had requested a refund but was told my order was going to be shipped. I gave ************************* the benefit of the doubt and still nothing. I appreciate any help from you. Thank you.

      November 8, 2022 started communication with ***********************, The birdhouse bard, *** ********, Falling Waters, WV . I sent pictures for a custom bird house to be built as a Christmas gift. He quoted a price, we agreed on a smaller version, he said he needed the money before starting. Money was sent via ****** ($600.00 ) I have been asking for pictures of the progress and his response is you will see it when it is done but he could send a pamphlet. He continued to string me along, saying it is coming along nicely but never sends pictures and to date I have not gotten the bird house or a refund. *********************** is a scammer and I hope the next person looking for a birdhouse reads the reviews before wasting their time and hard earned money. Birdhouse barn is nothing more than a hoax for trusting people. I have all communications via email for proof.

      My complaint is with the Birdhouse Barn. October of 2022, I sent this business $420 deposit and pictures of a home in order that a replica of the home would be created as a birdhouse. I was told it could be up to 13-16 weeks to complete. I checked in with owner ****, in December, January, February. Asking for photo of progress on birdhouse. I was told too busy to do that. He is making progress on should finish birdhouse mid March. First week in March I emailed saying send a photo of work completed or return my deposit. I was told again should be finished mid March. Today, I sent the same email saying send me a photo tomorrow or send me my deposit. Doubt I will get a professional response if any at all.

      April 22 2022 I placed an order, fully understanding the lead time can vary, as previous orders never arrived when they were promised. I asked throughout the year, each time it was promised, your order is shipping in 2 weeks. Needless to say the order never arrived. Finally I said I wanted to cancel the order, as i was tired of being lied to. Well I was told my money cannot be refunded, then a few weeks later I was informed he sold my order to someone else (which I do not believe) Then I requested a refund, it was denied again, and said I can either take the original order or store credit. But I will not do business with such a dishonest unethical business! They completely went against their own TERMS. This is direct from the business website, Our 100% money back guarantee is on all regular merchandise. This was not a custom order, and I am being refused a refund! Therefore I am being robbed and lied to! So now, my order is not manufactured, my money is just being stolen!

However, as a one-time courtesy I did provide him with store credit to purchase other merchandise whenever he would like.

      Dear Consumers, I'd recommend not using this company to make your custom birdhouse. The birdhouse warped and cracked within 10 days of putting it outside in my garden. The cost was $750 and it lasted 10 days. Was it worth $75 per day? NO! The company owner is very slow to respond and makes promises I'm sure in hopes that customers will just give up and go away. I have included email communication below. Always an excuse and always a unkept promise. I have learned a valuable lesson....never pay in advance!June 23, 2021 Communication from me to ****:****. How disappointing. I was thrilled when I finally received my birdhouse after waiting 6 months. I really was expecting it to last more than 10 days. $750 and it is falling apart after 10 days.       I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution will be satisfactory as long as the business owner is able to deliver on his promise. Needless to say, I am skeptical as I have been promised a replacement before.  If I do not receive a replacement in March or there is no proof of shipping, the only resolution that would be acceptable would be a full refund.

      SHAME ON ME!!! I believed **** ******** (more than once), when he said he would send me a new birdhouse after my birdhouse cracked and warped within a few short days of delivery (See attached photos). I filed a BBB complaint January 2023 after several exhausting emails. **** promised a new replacement house by April 2023. BIG SURPRISE!!!! I did NOT receive the replacement as promised by ****. I'm sure he hoped I would accept the resolution-making my complaint go away. **** cannot be trusted at his word. Best advice...FIND ANOTHER PERSON or COMPANY IF YOU WANT A CUSTOM BIRDHOUSE and you don't want to feel taken advantage of or feel like you have been royally scammed. You will be frustrated.       I ordered a custom birdhouse from Fred on 5/11/2021 as a closing gift for my clients who were selling their family home that they raised their 11 year old daughter in after she had passed away from cancer in the home. I had told Fred how important this gift would be and asked how long it would take. He said it would take between 8-16 weeks. After 16 weeks passed I never heard from Fred. I emailed him asking for status and he didn't reply right away but when he finally did reply he said it would take alittle bit longer. This went on for a few months. I asked for pictures of the progress of the birdhouse and he would say just alittle bit longer. I never received the birdhouse I paid for. I tried to dispute with ****** but they said since it had been past 180 days of purchase there was nothing they could do. In Feb of 2022 I had my own health issues and have been in and out of the hospital and was unable to tend to this matter however I received a message from Fred in June of 2022 saying that he lost all emails and that I would need to resend photos of the home for the birdhouse. At this point I would just like a refund for what I paid him. I was able to find one screenshot from an email from Fred that I screenshot to send to my client when they asked about the status of the birdhouse. Other than that all traces of emails from Fred are no longer in my inbox somehow they were all magically erased. I'm attaching Screenshots of what I paid, 1 email reply that I had in my ****** photos and the most recent email I received from Fred in June of 2022.

      I placed an order with Birdhouse Barn on July 4, 2022 and payment was required at the time of order. Although I have contacted the vendor numerous times via email, I am continually strung along. As of today, 11/11/2022 after 16 weeks I have still not received my order. I need assistance in getting a refund from Birdhouse Barn. I also believe the vendor is operating a SCAM and needs to be investigated and shutdown. I paid over $220 and need my money back as it is apparent I will never receive my order. This man is doing a disservice to all reputable businesses out there. I have a complete string of email conversations between this business and myself that I would gladly provide you with. I am requesting a complete refund.

      Contacted Fred H********** from The Birdhouse Barn via email since 2020 regarding replicating my house into a birdhouse. Numerous emails with questions and pictures were supplied to Fred. He supplied me with pictures of past jobs and referred me back to his website. birdhousebarn@*****.com ************@*****.com ************ He quoted me 1,800 for the total project which included all 4 sides replication of my house. Payment in full was required to begin the job and a total of 4 to 6 weeks to complete the job. Hence he was paid in full via Venmo on November 2021. (My friend ****** sent the payment through her ***** account, copies attached ) I email & call almost on a monthly bases and have not received anything! I have asked for my money back at numerous time by email & phone calls and they keep stating the project is almost complete. It will be a year soon and there is obviously no project being made. And for the record, their website states a phone number but they never answer so all correspondence are via email which I’ve kept all of them. I basically got ripped off by Fred H******* if that’s even his name, ***************************** ************

      We do not offer refunds on these. Also you ordered a few months ago not a year ago. The year is when you first contacted me.
