      Date started rent, July 10th 2023 Paid $17,050 to the apartment complex since date of rent The company committed to provide safe housing and has failed to provide such. The company had me pay before actually seeing the apartment ave by then it was too late to get a refund. The back door of the bottom floor I live in will not lock by deadbolt, they claimed that it could and it does not. There were signs of mold in the bathroom that was only painted over bc it continues to seep through the walls. There were oil marks in the kitchen that were only half painted over. The back bedroom had signs of flooding that was not fixed, only covered up by new carpet and molding. It’s currently re-leaking. The washer/dryer has been not working for 2 weeks and was told that it wouldn’t be fixed until June 1st. The business does not fix things when they are told about them. It takes forever to get a response. The amount of safety and health issues this one unit has is by far there most unacceptable I’ve ever seen. *note. I have a 9 year old son who lives with me here and I fear for his health and safety.

      April 2022 - My partner ******** ******* and I signed a lease each over $5,000 The company is to provide quality housing for the year of July 2022 to July 2023 The quality of housing upon arrival was horrible including but not limited to things such as: -Multiple water damages on the ceilings and walls -Broken window -Stained walls and carpets -Damaged and ripped carpets -Broken wall hanger -Damaged and chipped doors -The Door's Strike is damaged and hanging off -Woke up with Silver fish bugs in our provided beds -Bed frame leg is bent -Bath tub has mold and/or soap scum Other things to note before moving in: -We were promised by an ex employee of things such as early move in as of June 20th. He was removed from work and caused miscommunication and lack of communication with office as most phone calls would lead to their off-site response. All messages left for them would never receive calls back or emails. -The same employee that was removed also promised locks to our hallway for our 4 room XL. There are currently no locks except for our bedroom and bathroom. The company has offered to place us on top of the list of rooms to be refitted, however my partner and I didn't care about that and desire nothing but to break the contract and receive our money back. Neither I nor my fiancée hasn't touched the facility or the apartment since the first night, we've told all the staff at the office we'll never spend another moment in those doors and to this day we haven't. All we want is our money back and never work with any student housing again. We're not wealthy, and having a year's worth of my income sunk into a household I can't call home is disheartening.       The Ridge continues to lie or provide false promises. I have been promised to move in early, be waived application fees and be able to be roommate matched with my selected roommates. None of these promises have held true. Phone calls, emails and social media requests have been used to contact the Ridge and their corporate company, ***** *** ******. Responses have been limited stating they would speak with management but then no response or resolution. As a matter of fact, ***** *** ****** has never answered their phone nor contacted back even though their answering machine states they will call you back in 24 hours. I have asked several times to the Ridge to talk with someone that knows something but says they can only email management and their info is limited. I would like to be room mate matched with my requested room mates, my fees refunded to me and would also like my storage fees paid for.
