    New used engine for my 2013 VW beetle paid majority of cost in December for work to start picked up mid January. Drove it two days only to have engine lights come back on was paid in full with that January pick up. Was back in his garage for months Finally picked back up to only drive it a short amount of time at oil light came on back in the garage for weeks again picked it back up to drive it home oil light leaking keep getting different stories as to what it is never successfully fixed has been sitting in my driveway now for over a month waiting for him to get it back in the garage There’s always an excuse employee quitting he’s sick no room in his garage. No room in his parking lot. Seems like they just don’t know what they’re doing and don’t care to do it in a timely manner so the engine replacement was supposed to come with a warranty from him, but the warranty does me no good if he won’t actually work on it and get the car, right I’m afraid to drive it and I’m afraid to let him work on it but at this point he’s not even replying to me so it seems like he has no interest in actually fixing this vehicle but has $4500 of my money I have pages of texts with his excuses and promises, but no follow through. I’ve requested that he either fix the car so it’s drivable, which is what I paid him for or refund my money so that I can take it elsewhere, which, at this point, I would prefer, because I honestly don’t trust him at all, or I can have it towed to the VW dealership and let him authorize the work to pay for it and get it fixed properly with him paying that bill if he won’t just refund my money.

    On 10/22 I contacted the business becauise my vehicle had a major problem after just arriving in Morgantown from Philadelphia to visit our daughter.We arranged to have the vehicle towed to the business. A few hours later, Mr. C****** called me with three quotes. On his advice, we chose the first quote in the amount of $1,929.04. I paid immediately in full. He said he would begin work right away and the vehicle would be ready by the time we were leaving on Sunday. There were some delays and the vehicle was not ready but we were assured it would be ready the next day. We extended the hotel. We were told it would be ready on Thursday. We rented a car to go home and returned on Thursday after assurances the vehicle was ready for pickup. Once my husband arrived (a 5.5 hour drive), he found the vehicle was not repaired. He was told to stay an extra day and it would be done. He did and it was not done. He stayed one more day without the benefit of a hotel room because it was homecoming weekend and he had no vehicle since he had to return the rental car. Mr. C****** said the initial repair did not work and to fix the car it would be an additional $2,278.01. I received many text messages telling me about delays. I asked for a completion timeline and did not receive one. On 11/21 he told me he needed additional parts to complete the repair and I paid an invoice in the amount of $513.59. I asked for updates and he said it would be done on Monday 11/28. Finally, on Wednesday, 11/30, he told me the car was ready. I paid the final invoice. We made arrangements to pick it up on Saturday, 12/3. As it was before business hours, he was to leave the vehicle and keys outside the shop. At 7 am, after having already driven for four and a half hours, he said he would not be able to be there to give us the car and it was locked away in his shop. He promised to drive it to me in Philadelphia and he would leave at 10am. He never came and he will not respond to calls or messages.
