I was matched with Rebuilders on Home Advisors and only have requests. Chase called to set up an appointment told me the price and proceeded with a date and time. First day nothing done just reviewed to see how to complete installing two doorbells 2 hours. Additional 4 hours to wire front doorbell. Work never completed on back doorbell and large hole left in LR wall. Never used this business they are dishonest and exploit seniors. Time spent to prolong projects. I had a terrible experience and they billed me for more than what we agreed upon. So be ware.

******, We are very sorry that you did not take our advice of going with a wireless doorbell which would’ve been more cost effective and guaranteed to give you functioning door bells. We tried our best to replace your existing door bells, but there was an issue with the wire in the wall on one of them that you did not want us to fix. Our contract was not a bid, it was a time and material quote therefore you would be billed for services rendered. The electrician had to cut a hole in the plaster to replace wiring on the front door bell, this is normal practice when replacing wiring inside of a wall cavity. We billed you for less hours than we had in it and you still refused to pay the full amount of the bill for work completed. The plaster could’ve been repaired, but you didn’t want us back to do so. Furthermore, our company would never exploit any group of people and believe that honesty, integrity, and good character are the backbone of our company!

For many years we had a wireless doorbell, and it was just removed from the doorframe prior to the work, and I understood what had to be done to wire a new one. I was assured it could be done. The initial two hours at a set price and they only looked around to see how to do the work. After the initial two hours were up, Chase said he wanted to look at the wall a little more to be sure how to do the work.at no charge. He said it would take four hours to complete the work at a set price and by my calculations I paid by the hours for a total of six hours to wire front doorbell. And the back doorbell wasn't fixed because Chase said he couldn't fix it because the current wire was too short to pull out to wire. After four hours were almost up Chase came in my office to tell us of the work progress or lack of, but the front doorbell was finished only after my husband said this was enough, we had to leave for an appointment. Then Chase said, " let me try one other thing", all of a sudden, the doorbell chimed less than 5 minutes later. I am sorry to that I am being charged for extra hours. I know it was not a bid and I understand math very well. Thank you,
