On Friday, December 16, 2022, I had my vehicle worked on at the service department at Premier Chevrolet in Morgantown, WV. The total for the service was $2,288.97. This total included tax. After providing my credit card to the employee I received a receipt for $2,369.08. I then asked why my total was raised by $80 and was told "yeah, we charged you an $80.11 surcharge for using a credit card". I then explained to the employee that I did not authorize that charge prior to my credit card being used and that I would have paid with cash. I then spoke to the service manager, Sam ******, and asked that my $80 be refunded to me. He explained that it is the credit card companies fault and that I could contact them. My complaint is that I was not told that there would be an $80 "surcharge" added to my total prior to the employee swiping my credit card.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait until for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

I bought a car in the beginning of October 2021. Two weeks after buying the car the check engine light went on and wouldn’t drive. Ever since, I have had issues with the car shaking tremendously, oil leaking, spark plugs, coils, and sensors needed replaced. In May 2022 it had shut off on me while driving and the breaks went out. Luckily no one was hurt, but I immediately made another appointment to get it looked at. Premier GMC wouldn’t get me in for 3 months even after hearing what had happened. I fought with them for days before they got me in. They said they don’t know what they’re doing with my type of car so they sent me to someone else to have it looked at. The place we went to couldn’t do anything so GMC towed it to their dealership and has had it for over two months now. They are refusing to give me a rental or help pay for one and are wanting me to pay almost $2000 to get it fixed. I have not even had this car for a year and they won’t even give it back so I can take it somewhere else.
