On September 1, 2022 I placed a $611.00 order for parts for my Yamaha ATV. On December 9, 2022 I sent an email to JBS Performance requesting an ETA on my order. James ***** promptly responded to my email, claiming that they are waiting on my clutch weights and that they are experiencing a supply chain issue. He stated that my order was still 6-8 weeks out. 6-8 weeks came and went a couple times over with no contact from JBS performance. So, I sent an email on April 19, 2023 checking on my order again. It went unanswered. I sent another email on June 23, 2023. Still no answer. I was starting to wonder if they went out of business. I checked their website and noticed it has been updated and looks better than ever. Out of curiosity I checked the BBB website. I was a bit surprised to see other complaints just like mine. I wonder how long this will be allowed to happen.Customer response

Ordered $1257.00 worth of clutch parts that includes $32 in shipping on order 40979 for a clients Yamaha UTV on 2/27/23. As with all the other BBB complaints about this business I just read, the following is a common issue with JBS. My card was charged 3 days after the order which I thought was unusual as typically vendors charge the customers card when the parts are being shipped and you receive a shipping confirmation around the same time period. Only received one email from JBS and that was the confirmation of the order 2 days after the internet order. Now it's 3/28/23 still no parts, no shipping notification or progress update and no one is answering their phones. James has had a full voicemail box since 3/10/23. I have called both numbers each 3 times today with no answer and once I received an automated text response that says "Sorry i'm with another customer right now". This business is a scam. I have been scammed and now will have to pursue this with legal action to recover my money. I own and operate a business that keeps integrity and honesty at the forefront of all dealings with my clients and I have found out that this JBS company is just a front for scamming people's money. I ask that they refund my money or Legal matters will need to follow with my attorney. I'll start reviewing businesses on BBB prior to submitting orders with new Vendors in the future.Customer response

I ordered a wet clutch on January 25th 2023 (2 months ago) and still haven’t received my parts. I called several times and it’s a cell phone number and the voicemail says mailbox is full. How convenient. The last time I called he texted me and said he was on the phone and told me to text him (which I did) and he said he would ship out my order tomorrow. It never shipped. At this point I want a refund. I don’t do business this way. Now he is ignoring all texts I’ve sent to cancel my order. This place is a joke. I don’t want parts I just want a refund.Initial Complaint

I ordered parts from this company on September 5, 2022. After months of no email responses and no product ever received, I was able to get a response via text on January 27th, 2023. I was told the order would ship Monday. No order was sent. On February 14th I received a response that they would check on the order status and get back to me. Multiple texts and emails were sent after this, with no response. I asked for order cancellation and refund with no response. I am now having to file a dispute with my credit card company.Initial Complaint

I ordered a clutch from JBS performance on 10/29/2022. I called and they finally answered. They said the weights were on order, 3 weeks out. I waited the 3 weeks and called back, they said the aluminum was on backorder from another country. Now they will not answer my calls and I cannot leave a message. I feel like they should be shut down. I know I am not the only one who they have done this too. It was 400 dollars in parts. I could not use my side by side for my hunt. On july 4 ordered a belt and sheave kit for 671.39 paid by my credit card to their ****** account. It has been 4 and half months and still no order has arrived. I have emailed many times with replies stating next week and order is backordered and i can send half the order or waiting for the right weights or waiting for the belt. Lots of excuses still no order. And now no answer mailbox full on the phone and no replies back on the emails either.Initial Complaint

Thought this was a reputable company. June 1st I ordered $1,133 in clutch parts and was told they were 2 weeks behind alone with ordering the parts from ******. June 24th We are definitely getting closer Adam :) We are working to get these parts to yall as soon as we get them from yamaha. Thank you for your patience and your business! July 18th yes sir, coming out this week - probably shipping tomorrow or Wednesday! I called in and they were on vacation then get another shipping day. Aug 15th still no parts no tracking number. Then get they will ship Thursday which it the 18th. It’s now the 30th and no parts they refuse called and not even email anything back. I find out now that this is how this business is ran and I’ve had enough. Can’t even get ahold of anyone to get my money back!! Instead of excuses I want honesty and truth. I was looking forward to seeing his work and the products he brags about but clearly I will never get them in a timely manor not to mention the business I had to turn away for my our downtime! My four wheel is not just a toy it’s used for work. Clearly not a business I’ll go to or ever recommend. My reviews don’t go unnoticed. I’ll leave it at that if I get my money back in full and wash my hands. Or I dispute lost time and money and the fact I wasted all summer waiting to get excuses. If lost sleep had a $ amount it would be huge. I just want my dang parts I don’t get why I gotta cause so much havoc to get what I ordered and payed for months ago. Can’t stress enough lost time on this deal from coming up with the money right off the bat and no further ahead now then from the start!!! As stated I want my money back in full or the correct rights parts that I ordered and go on our ways and I’ll give a stand up review on their behalf and maybe take in consideration all the negative business to try and be better to avoid these added stress issues. I made a purchase of parts from this company on 8-16-2022, i was told they have everything in stock & would ship out the day of the purchase, i did not receive any tracking# within 24hrs of the purchase, I again contacted the company & then they said i should have them by 8-19-2022, i did not receive any parts or tracking# on that day, I again contacted the company on 8-22-2022 & was told they would ship out on 8-23-2022, at this point i have exhausted my attempt for my purchase, the purchase was paid for through my paypal account, As of today 8-23-2022 i have asked the company for a full refund or i would turn matters over to the BBB, i have not been contacted in any way from the company.
