I pawned 4 guns with Famous Pawn Shop back in September or October. I am a nurse so it was hard for me to sometimes make it into the store to make payments. The shop would always call me when I was late to remind me about the pawn. I had received one of them phone calls and was told by the gentleman that when ai came into the store I could sign a paper so that I could pay by phone. When I went into the store I was then told by the store manna that I couldn’t do that so the gentleman set me up to pay by phone. The next mont ** came and I didn’t receive the text that I was told that I would and when I went into the store that time the gentleman was trying to help me when the store manager got into the mix and she was very rude with me so I called the other store and tried to make a complaint. I put a review on **** about them and how rude the manager was. I went into pick up one of my pawns when it was due and was waiting to pick up the others. I thought my due date was for the 11th of December and when I went in on 12/10 to get them out I was informed by the gentleman that the due date was the 9th and that they had already pulled them. They didn’t even call me as they had in the past and I feel like it because me and the manager had words. The general men told me that they could call the owner and ask if I can still get them out if I paid all of the fees. I’m the meantime I called the other store and was told that they have to give me 5 days before they can pull them by that manager names Drew. Of course when the store manager came out from the back she said that the owner said it was to late to get them which was no surprise. The sad thing is that the 4 guns belonged to my husband who passed away 2 years ago today so they can’t be replaced. The way the store treated me was very disrespectful and disappointing. I have done business with both locations several times in the past and I have always came back in to pick up my stuff.
