Double billed for the same procedure on 5-7-2020 My Insurance has paid the bill already and Thomas Hospital billed the Insurance again for the same procedure, which was denied because of the duplicate charge.My wife called and had a three way call with our Insurance carrier and Thomas Hospital and the Hospital person stated that they would get it resolved. The thing I know they turned the bill to a collection service to collect the duplicate charge. I then call this collection company a few times and disputed the duplicate charge. They said that Thomas Hospital has withdrawn the duplicate charge from them. The next thing I know I am receiving a letter from another collection company for the duplicate charge. Thomas Hospital will see that I only had one routine colonoscopy done that day.Today I receive a letter from **** Solutions to settle the duplicate charge. My Insurance carrier has already paid the claim for 4197.28 and I have mailed proof to Thomas Hospital and the first collection company. I have seen that Thomas Hospital is effected my credit rating. My patient # ********* The insurance carrier is ******* ****** that handed the claim. The Insurance was carried by my wife ***** ** ******* I was the patient **** ** ******* The original total bill was for 4937.98 but it was less after the discounts. I just want Thomas Hospital to fix the mistakes on the billing errors and notify the credit agency that I owe nothing for this fully covered Routine Colonoscopy that was 100% covered by our Insurance company.Business response
