            My friends and I drove 6 hours to spend a weekend in WV and ski at Snowshoe. On Saturday, Jan 14, we drove into Snowshow around 9:30 am to buy our lift tickets. There was an extremely long line at the ticket counter, and we specifically asked a staff member if this was the correct line to purchase tickets if we were using the ***** buddy pass. The staff member told us yes, so we got in line and waited 2 hours to get to the ticket counter. Once there, the woman at the front desk told us we were not in the right spot and would have to take a shuttle to the correct location and get in line again there. This was the only planned ski day for myself and another girl in the group, and we had already lost half of it waiting in line. We did not want to lose another several hours waiting in line and risk being given incorrect information again by a staff member so the two of us paid full price on lift tickets instead of getting a discount as we should have. I am requesting a refund of $94.50, the amount we overpaid for 2 tickets based on the misleading information given to us by a staff member.

            Snowshoe you need to hire more customer service people! The wait time on the phone is absolutely ridiculous! How do you expect a person to wait on hold for hours?!?! We also have things to do during the day and this is a huge inconvenience. If things are this bad on the mountain, we will not be back! I am not happy about this hold time simply to confirm my lift tickets that I bought, was charged for and never got a confirmation on.
