Do not send your loved ones to Wheeling Hospital. My grandpa is currently in Wheeling Hospital (other local hospitals were not taking new patients) with multiple issues and due to refusing a blood transfusion per his wishes they have stopped all treatment and basic human care. They are not feeding him, giving him water, no longer putting him on oxygen and stopped the morphine drip to keep him comfortable. They told us the morphine will speed up the death process. The doctor was incredibly rude saying if this were his parent he would never turn away blood even if that were the wishes of them legally documented. I don't believe as a medical professional you should speak to your patients family in that way and make an already devastating situation worse. I have never seen less compassionate medical professionals in my life.Review from Susan R

WVU wheeling hospital is a joke. Wait days in the er and then more days for a room have incompetent staff drs. Would never recommend anyone go to wheeling hospital. Everyone who dies it’s at wheeling hospital They should be investigated. Also have a staff member hiring people who are in the psychiatric ward and giving them high priority paying jobs
