In February 2022, I contacted Robert ****** T***** through his website (**********************) and by phone to schedule a round trip from ****** ************* Airport to Cheyenne, Wyoming – departing DIA at 2:30pm July 22, and returning the morning of July 26th at 10am. Sunday, July 3, I reconfirmed by text and phone for the above times. July 12, I received an invoice for the roundtrip in the amount of $434, which was paid on July 18. The day of arrival, I called at 2pm to say that we were ready if he had arrived early. He picked us up at 3:15 – 45 minutes late, blaming “traffic.” He insisted on taking Greeley highway to Cheyenne instead of Interstate 25. While driving between Greeley and the state line, he was pulled over for speeding – 74 mph in a 65 speed limit area. During the drive, he also insisted that we depart from Cheyenne no later than 9:30 am on the date of our departure, even though we had previously agreed upon 10am. The evening before pickup (July 25) at 8:30 pm, I had not heard from him to confirm the return trip. I texted him to confirm the 9:30am pickup. He responded that he had an “accidental scheduling conflict” and needed to pick us up at 8:30am. I responded that 8:30 would not work for us, and that he could pick us up at 9:30 or refund half our money from the trip ($217). After some back and forth and a call (in which he hung up on me), he said that he would refund half. On July 27, he texted that he had refunded $200 to the card that made the payment. He was combative and made no reference to the additional $17 owed. I have not spoken or texted to him since then.
