Special grant payments were processed by Little Wind Loans on behalf of the Northern Arapaho tribe. Several of us have not received our checks due to the checks being distributed to the wrong address. It is going on a month now, and I have explained that my check will not be returned because there is no forwarding address - several others are reaching out to Little Wind Loans as well and receiving no response for their lost checks. They will not answer the phone, and when I finally got a response via email, they refused to redistribute checks they can clearly see have not been cashed for 105 days. This money was to help with school and medical expenses for those of us tribal members suffering from inflation and job losses. I want them to send the $500 dollars to ALL members who have reported not receiving their checks. It is not right for them to sit on money that does not belong to them. That is tribal grants that need to be handled expeditiously.
