This company, opened up a new debt in my name.. I have not had dish network in over 3 years..Today I get a credit alert on my credit report saying account in collections.. It shows the date it was opened and everything.. These people need to be sued.. I will be calling the credit bureau and report this as fraudReview from Richard P

I have been working very hard to get an issue resolved for my father. He spent some time at a Care Center in our town and upon release he was given a bag full of medicine. The medicine was his prescribed pills, except for one: Glucagon Emergency Kit for which he was billed $239.98. Glucagon is for patients with low blood sugar and my father has never had an issue with his blood sugar and I have copies of lab tests to prove it. This is clearly a scam! I spent a lot of time contacting everyone I could think of for help with this issue with absolutely no success. The bill was eventually turned over to ALLIED INTERSTATE LLC. On Feb. 1, 2024 they sent an Account Statement stating that "They have attempted to resolve this matter with you without success". All they ever did to "resolve" the issue was to send bills. I called them and got a woman who asked me what the problem was. When I told her that my father was given and billed $239.98 for an emergency kit that he doesn't need she SCREAMED "HOW DO YOU KNOW? and continued screaming at me until I had no choice but to hang up. The person I spoke with continued rudely to try to talk over me as I was explaining that I switched my Medicare months ago through Social Security to Aetna plan. I never owed the money; don't speak to me about a "balance" because there was never any money owed on services not authorized or used.Allied Interstate, LLC Response

Received a letter from them stating that I owe money to Energy Harbor in Ohio. Spoke to Energy Harbor who said they did not contact the The Receivable Management Services LLC, and would not since all the billing goes through AEP Ohio with whom we have an account. AEP Ohio confirms the same. The Receivable Management Services LLC rep said he knew nothing about the reason for the bill, just that it existed. We are current with AEP Ohio (confirmed with them), and this seems like a scam.Allied Interstate, LLC Response

This company calls both my husband and I repeatedly from different numbers looking for our 35 year old daughter. It is harassment and unethical. She doesn't live with us and hasn't lived with us for the last 17 years. She is an adult. We are not responsible for her or any debt she may owe. Sent a wage garnishment letter to my employer on March 15, 2021 for a 41 year old student loan, took tax returns over the years, said I owed 16,500.13 for a loan back then of 3,000- Garnishment was unlawful as the pandemic pause was in full effect, they said I’m not eligible for the pause and garnishment will take place next pay period. When I was eligible They prey on naive scared people , inflate loan amount , I had to take a loan pay 9,336.05 to allied interstate. They are liars and frauds and should be stopped. They now say a stop garnish was sent to my employer April 4, 2021 which is a outrageous lie. They were not suppose to go after anyone during the pandemic pause phase. I have started my complaint with every legal option hoping for resolve in this fraudulent practice. They are known to use deceitful , illegal maneuvers to obtain, written off, old expired, loans for students They refused any offer Demanded 9,336.05 within 15 daysAllied Interstate, LLC Response

After starting a new job which includes debt collection as one of my duties,I have more sympathy for debt collectors and have actually started paying my debt instead of just ignoring it.theyre just doing their job with whataver info they receive,if whoever they received the purchased debt from gives them wrong or non updated info,they still need to follow up on it.them asking for birthday and ssn is a legal requirement for debt collection agencies.cant remember who I talked to but he was cool and was willing to work with me on paying my debt.Allied Interstate, LLC Response

Received a call today with caller only giving first name and stating he was with Allied Interstate. Not knowing who they were I inquired but was told he would not answer any questions - reason for call - company, etc -unless I gave birth date and SSN. I declined.
