    I contracted this company in May ************************************************************************************************* $15,143. Part of the benefits of this expense included an automated condensate overflow shutoff switch. This is valuable because it prevents condensate water from damaging the air handler if the condensate line gets clocked. Soon after installation and payment the switch falsely triggered a system shutoff. That means no AC while you try to clear the condensate line. The problem is the line was never blockedthe system was installed wrong causing it to falsely trigger. They came out twice and both times they bent the mechanism so it could not fill with condensate water. That stops false system triggering but also prevents it from triggering when its supposed tomeaning it wont work. Also meaning, should my condensate line ever clock, it will overflow and cause damage to my air handler. See the attached picture showing the angle their technician accomplished. I also called the company twice and both times they promised to respond and both times they did not. No call, no action, no nothing. I believe they installed the system off level or off plumb and the effective repair would be reinstalling which would be a big job they dont want to do. Thats just a guess but whatever the reason the current fix is inadequate and ineffective, not a repair, causes risk to my investment, and most importantlyI believe theyre aware of all this.

    I am extremely disappointed with the service that I received from Southwest Heating and Cooling. After providing me with memorable service in the past, I decided to contact them for a routine maintenance. Almost immediately after their worker left, I noticed that it took the ac longer to reach my desired temp culminating in me contacting their after hours dept twice after the ac stopped cooling completely. I did not leave a voicemail as I needed service IMMEDIATELY and ended up contacting another company who sent someone out within minutes of my call. The technician who fixed my issue found that there was a slow freon leak caused by someone manipulating the ac condenser Freon valve. I paid $650 to have this issue fixed by another company. I called and emailed SW Heating and Cooling and spoke with the owner, Jason, who agreed that unintentional freon valve manipulation happens fairly often and that I would hear back soon about my refund. I also explained that to avoid paying nearly $1000 to have Freon replaced, the technician from the other company charged me a much better rate and I paid the technician directly. Earlier today, I was told that I cannot get a refund since I did not leave a voicemail message for their after hour dept and that they plan to give an additional service to another property of mine to smooth things over (valued at $220); they approved this without my permission. When I explained that I needed IMMEDIATE support for a problem caused by one of their workers, on video, and that I was not going to wait in an 85deg home, at 9pm, with two toddlers and a wife who has to present for work at the hospital at 2am., for one of their workers to “possibly” return my call and come out that night, I was told, “well, you have to understand this is a business…” a business that I will never be working with again. The final nail today came when the owner, Jason, refunded me $220 rather than “$250 cash” that he offered during our conversation last week.
