    I feel like our car is being held hostage, because the shop is trying to contact carshield to get some parts approved and Carshield is **** We could go in for our THIRD rental car, but it is such a hassle.

    great sales pitch and marketing, but Car Shield is simply not worth the money and effort. Very few repair shops even accept Car Shield, and that is for a good reason. Car Shield makes the repair shops do extra teardowns to verify things that are not necessary, ending up in additional costs to the car owner. It also pays under market rates to repair shops and forces them to go through hoops just to submit claims and get paid on them. In my case, it ended up costing me more out-of-pocket to file a claim through Car Shield than if I just went directly to the repair facility. Look for other car warranties.

    I didn't have the service but for a little while but they are true to their word when covering their services. I would use them again if needed.

    I experienced the worst experience of car shield, making false advertisement of covering my vehicle, which was false car shield left me to pay an out-of-pocket expense because they did not want to apply by their contract that I have with them they use section 21 A- B stating that I neglected my vehicle after a breakdown I have had my vehicle for three years with no breakdown no engine problems no water pump problems. This is the first breakdown I have had on my car and car. She refuses to cover my expenses, they also stated that they will cover my diagnostic test, which was false. I have to pay an out-of-pocket fee just to receive my car back from the facility that they felt best was fit for my car to be towed to. This is the worst experience ever and I advise anyone with car shield to just place their money inside of a savings because they will give you the runaround on why they are not fixing your car. I have all my documentations stating about my car and they steal denied fixing my car. I would never be using car shield again.

    Car shield practices, bait and switch. All the commercials with Iced T and ****** ***, reel you in with the thought of protecting your vehicle. It sounds so convincing that all you have to do is pay your deductible. I had an issue with my vehicle took it to the place they referred. After three days picked up my vehicle with issue still remaining. Took car to Meineke, but I was unaware of the process that I was about to experience. The car is diagnosed. I was given a car rental, which was great, but that was the only part of the experience that reflected their adds. After the diagnosis, was told to negotiate the price and to persuade them to receive outside parts for the my vehicle.I was given a car rental, which was great, but that was the only part of the experience that reflected their adds. After the diagnosis, I was told that I would have to pay my deductible plus the remaining balance. The reason for the remaining balance was Meineke was not willing to negotiate the price for the work/labor, nor was Meineke willing to accept outside parts. After numerous calls back-and-forth with many car shield representative who were extremely fixated on ignoring what their commercials offered,the magical deductible. I was told that I myself should go and negotiate with them and try to have them accept outside parts. After I spoke with them about that not being a successful, they suggested that I have them release my vehicle and take it to someone else they recommend. After the first recommendation experience of $4,900 fake work estimates. I paid the deductible. I paid the remaining balance which included an out of pocket $175.12 for the diagnosis.I also had to come out of pocket for some work that had to be completed as a result of them doing the work that was covered.I feel that I have been paying into a system month after month and did not get what I was promised. I would not recommend car shield to anyone.

    Complete scammer! Best sales talk to get your business. All the possible excuses that you can imagine. Brought my car for a repair, said that not covered under pre-existing condition. They will never hear from you despite giving them the records and facts that would prove the situation. Oh and by the way, if you tell them that you cancel the coverage, in a split second, no second thoughts, they will cancel it.

    We live in a smaller city, and no adjuster came here. The shop sent pictures, more pictures and a video before they okd the claim. We would have been in trouble if it was our only vehicle, since its been 3 weeks and parts havent arrived yet.

    One problem with this company. Although I have to admit I wish that they would cover rental coverage at least for folks on a fixed income. Other than that I never have a problem with this company it constantly take care of myself and my mechanics bills for a monthly fee and a $100 deductible
